For new students, she would often receive registration docs, and this would be sent to me with no other student docs. We discussed with attendance on Main, which is her role on FTK, that attendance calls the school to request both transcripts and cum file to be mailed. We had to work together to figure out who requests what. A formal process would be nice to avoid delays. I am also occasionally getting calls from parents or students dropping in after someone (unsure who) tells them that they can start school the following day, and I have received no notice of the incoming students. He was here, in regular classes, for a full week before I got to the bottom of his status. I was told, by Ms. Vangene, after the fact, that a regular school placement was inappropriate, in the first place.
