“...intelligence is the ability to change.”

What do you think? Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?

I agree with the quote. Intelligence is the ability to change technically, and the way to increase your IQ is to change what you were taught to think at younger ages. You change what you taught to think to the finalized understanding at higher intelligence. You understand it more deeply because you changed about how you interpreted when you were younger.

I agree with this quote. Because in life you must be able to adapt and change in life, for you to succeed. Lets say you are put in a situation where you have the option to change the way you work for a better and more efficient way, if you are willing to change then I would define you as smart. But also intelligence does not necessarily need to be related academics and grades. It is more of whether you are good at a section of work or life. For example, some can be academically intelligent, but there are also some who are life smart. From my experiences, I feel as though there are many people who succeed in school and is very smart academically, but is unable to figure their way out of situations where it includes emotions. So sometimes it is better to change than stay the same in life.

Every day people are learning new things, people can change this world by how someone thinks. So technically everyone is always changing as they learn new things each day, and their intelligence on that current thing will expand.

Also, the higher intelligence you have the easier it is to change your brain into thinking of something a different way then maybe you learned it. Having a higher intelligence also makes it easier to change other people and the way they think of something.

Being able to change and adapt to different situations shows intelligence in many ways that some can't imagine. Being able to solve problems based on different situations is easier the more intelligent you are because you mind will think about the problem differently than someone with less intelligence.

I agree and disagree with the quote. Intelligence is the ability to make change to something, but at the same time, it is the ability to get used to change, because the world around us is always changing and you have to realize that you're not the only one who is making changes to your daily life. There is always other people that are making new inventions, discoveries, and improvements. Also, I don't think that intelligence should be limited to one category and one category only. Someone might be smart in one subject such as academics, but not so good in another subject such as socialization, art, sports, or quite literally any subject that you can think of. I disagree, because you technically don't have to be intelligent in a subject for you to be able to make a change to it. For example, anyone could be roaming around a beach or a forest and discover a new species. It could be a little toddler that discovered it.

Each type shows a different way a person approaches, accepts, or makes change. Also those with higher intelligence may find it easier to relate to others who are like minded, or approach change in the same manor as them. This does not mean that those who are of lower intelligence cannot do this, it just means that their way of adapting may not be conventional.

I agree yet disagree with this statement. There are multiple ways a person can change, but a person that has already fallen, and ingested no good, naughty ingredients that can lead to a disruptance of change. Though it is true intellegence is the ability to change, which in school is defined by the ability to learn, which is the same as changing, people who have access to ingredients that release endorphins in a human body usually change for the worse, and can almost never change for the better. When they are deep in the hole of drugs, it doesn't matter how intelligent they are, as they aren't able to change for the better with the burden of feeling good on their back, weighing them down when they begin their acsent. I agree with this quote, because, as said before, we use this statement in the classroom. The ability to change in this case is the ability to learn, which is essentially what intelligence is. There are many forms of intelligence, as we learned previously, but all forms recquire the need to change. If you are intelligent in the form of art, you have to change your topic, or it shall become bland. If you are intelligent in the form of music, you have to change the type of songs you learn/create, or it shall also become bland. There are many ways this statement can be used or understood, which is how they choose to interpret it.

It depends the action taken and the kind of intelligence. It also depends on the perspective. You can look at it from the perspective of the person changing or society changing. Personally, I think that, yes intelligence can cause change in society, it can make our world different. People can find cures to diseases, start business, and many more things. But I disagree looking at the standpoint that it can change a person. Intelligence comes with you, it's the matter of if you retain it. People with lower IQ's can be told all these things but their brain just can't remember it. With people who have higher IQ's can retain the information and that's the main difference.

But intelligence can also be something that remains the same. Someone can be good at one thing but bad at another and that kind of intelligence can be improved or not.
I disagree because if you think of all the YouTubers or actors and actresses they don't really need a formal education. I would agree because overtime the ideas and decisions we make, may change into something entirely new with a special meaning or message. Which may show our intelligence as changing. At the same time I disagree due to the fact that, intelligence can't happen with just a snap of your fingers, you may learn new things which have some sort of effect on you but overall intelligence doesn't fit into the equation, since change takes time and space.

I don't believe "intelligence is the ability to change" because you can be intelligent but still make not smart decisions. And you can say how you're going to change but don't. Your intelligence doesn't define you. Anyone can have a low IQ score and make bad decisions but not just people with low IQ scores make bad decisions it's mostly people with high IQ scores. To conclude, intelligence is not the ability to change because if you have a high IQ you should know right from wrong. and if you don't have a high IQ you would have to take one step at a time. Regardless on what your IQ is you may have the ability to change but most of the time you won't change
