-Mass media: The conference held was a platform for the Somalia government to voice out and seek help from the experts. It was therefore partially successful as help was given in terms of funds and power.

-Problems Faced by Somalia: The country doesn't have income tax, due to being dependent on foreign aid . Revenue generated at trading ports were claimed to be missing and are unaccounted for. Port authorities denied of corruption. This remains as a problem to Somalia, as without revenue, the situation in the country won't change in helping the people of Somalia.

-Problems Faced by British and International : Threat due to terrorism in Somalia serves as a problem that British may face.

-Problems faced by Somalia:

The country mainly depend on foreign aid to boost up their economy. However, due to political instabiliy, the foreign aid is not utilised properly. The political instabilty,due to corruption, leads to violence and eventually the loss of lives and damage of infrastructure in the Somalia. This would fear investors from investing in Somlia due to the polical instablity and hence, hinders the development of the country.  Also, the profit earned during trading are not properly documented and transacted. These has caused a disadvantage in Somalia because without proper accounting of business profits, the business would have a hard time flourishing.

-Problems faced by the citizens of Somlia

The Somalians do not have the freedom in their country. They are treated like slaves under Islamist Al-Shabab group.  Also, they suffer from poverty because of the domination of the terrorist group over the citizens.

The children are brought up in a society where injustice is carried out. Therfore, the children grow up with a wrong mindset and may have strong opinions when they are older.

Somalia: No income tax; federal budget is from foreign aid, focused on building national security force rather than creating reliable livelihoods for Somalians.

Somalian government: 75% to 80% of the revenue from maritime trade is lost or taken by port management and businessmen

Somalian port workers: meagre income from jobs, eg porters, wholesalers, drivers, farmers

British government: conscious of not letting history repeat itself by ignoring needs of Somalia in restoring itself and causing a threat to international security - convinced to donate $$ from own economy to help resurrect Somalia.

> Problems faced by government : The new government is trying to restore order in Somalia, a famously failed state. Requires a huge sum of money from International community

> Problems faced by Somalia : Most of the money earned by the export of lemons does not make its way to the government. Somalia does not have income tax, hence, they do not get much revenue. The money usually come from foreign aid

> Problems faced by Somali traders : The way the government collects money to through going to the port. However corruption in the government is rising. Most of the money generated there are going missing and not accounted for

> Problems faced by the foreign donors : If the problem of Islamist militancy is not handled properly, it could be a breeding ground for extremists and terrorists. Therefore, causing threat to the world
