Yummy Bites is an innovative snack company located in UNIMAS, Kota Samarahan that offers bite-sized portions of delicious snacks perfectly packaged for on-the-go eating. Our product line includes varieties of bite-sized cookies, crackers, chips, jelly, candies, and more. Each product is carefully crafted to deliver full flavor and texture, while being sized as the ideal mini-snack.

Our target market includes students, especially in UNIMAS and outside, as well as children who like sweet and salty snacks. Yummy Bites also targets health-conscious millennials, busy families, travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and other on-the-go consumers looking for tasty, filling, and portable snack options.

Yummy Bites was founded in 2023 to provide the perfect portable snack. We noticed a gap in the market for satisfying snacks conveniently sized for busy, active lifestyles. Our bite-sized snacks are easy to grab and go when you're out and about, breakfast, traveling, hiking, at work, or on your lunch break. The single-serve packaging also makes portion control simple.

Within our first year, Yummy Bites has achieved over RM 270 in sales. Over the next three year, we project generating RM500 in annual sales. Our bite-sized innovation stands out among students and children also in snack market in social media and positions Yummy Bites for significant growth.

Additionally, we have secured partnership with groceries shop which will help provide the snack and beverage for our business.

Lack of availability- Customers get frustrated when a business frequently runs out of stock on popular items or hot selling package.

Confusing information- Customers may have trouble understanding complicated instructions, labels, bills and so forth.

No way to provide feedback- If customers lack avenues to provide complaints, compliments or suggestions directly to a business, then the business misses out on valuable insight to improve operations and the customer experience.

Having a business also taught me the importance of diligent market research. Using social media as our main platform makes our business easily more approaches either from customers side or seller side.

Working collaboratively on this venture taught me a lot about communication, team dynamics, and my own strengths. By dividing up roles suited to our individual capabilities, we were able to establish an efficient workflow.

Although launching an actual enterprise was challenging and knowledge I couldn’t get from textbooks. Running this business cemented my passion for entrepreneurship and built my confidence to potentially start my own company someday post-graduation.

D (Desire): Images of tasty looking snacks and drinks like Soya, Candy, Chocolate and salty snacks create desire for the product. Urging students to "Grab Now" and "Place Your Order" taps into impulse buying tendencies.

A (Action): Clear calls to action to "Grab Now," "Place your order in the link in bio," and "Come and Grab" encourage the target sleepyhead students to actually purchase the advertised Bucket Snacks to fuel up between morning classes. The post makes it easy to act by linking directly to the order form.

• Generate interest and intrigue- Teasers that we used are meant to give just a taste of something exciting to come without revealing too much. This builds anticipation and gets people curios to know more about our Yummy Bites product. The logo that we put in the post one of the hints that we want to convey about upcoming product.

Through this business, i learnt the importance of communication between teammates for a business especially as a leader. We need everyone to support each other for a business to run smoothly because everyone have strengths a weaknesses. Due to the fact that we have these weaknesses, we need someone else to help overcome these weaknesses. For me, I'm especially bad at organising, and making connections. This is where my teammates come to action. I couldn't have ran this business if it wasn't for my teammates. I'm very thankful to have these teammates.

Thanks to this business and course, the next time I try to run a new business, I will know what to do, at least the basics, to run a business.
