An appeal such as Pathos uses one's emotion and creates a story-like image that helps establish a sympathetic feeling to an audience, they may even base their marketing on something a lot of people can relate to which can cause many to recollect. Logos focus more on the logic and reasoning behind the point they want to get across, and Ethos focuses on the credibility and ethic to help persuade their audience.
