         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think that they should be more lienient for children who have endured trauma because a consequence of traumatic experiences can result to a child acting out because trauma can decrease self-regulation skills and the child could go into "fight or flight" mode if they feel endangered or frustrated by even a simple occurence.</div>]]></description>

         <title>I think that those types of policies are harsh. Not every kid who acts out does so intentionally. Kids who do act out should talk with the responsible adults to find out what could be causing their behavior.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Youth serving organization can be very helpful and reliable to people especially when they can not go to their parents or guardian about issues in their life. Zero tolerance in schools has many negative effects, many children believe that there is no point and they see no benefit in getting detention except for not being home so they do not have to deal with family problems.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think there should be a policy that is not zero tolerance.  There should be a system where the first time the student gets a small warning then they have a discussion with the teacher and then they get a  consequence. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Zero-tolerance policies to a degree. Obviously if a student is harming or threatening other students that is major. Behavioral issues among students is common. Student counselors, aides or psychologists can help in the classroom. </title>

Children grow up in different types of families, so they think different types of behavior are normal or okay. </div>]]></description>
