He launched the company's first location, known as Smokers Outlet, in Roseville, Michigan, in 1994, at which point it was one of the first tobacconist shops in the state. Mazin Samona has since rebranded and grown the company to feature more than 100 stores throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. In addition to his success leading Wild Bill's Tobacco, Mazin Samona launched Mr. Vapor, which was one of Michigan's first electronic cigarette retail shops. He holds membership with industry organizations including the Smoke Free Alternatives Trade Association and Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association. Mr. Samona also contributes to various causes in his local community and has been particularly active during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through Wild Bill's, he donated thousands of masks, gloves, and bottles of hand sanitizer to Ascension Health and the Henry Ford Health System.
