(1) Hydropower is a friendly climate energy resource, that can generate power without producing air pollution or toxins. (2) As well, energy relies on the water cycle which is driven by the sun. This makes hydropower a renewable energy source. (3) Finally, hydropower is a very clean source due to the fact that it is powered by clean and fresh water, such as the Charm Quark River in Periodicville.
