         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. The problem I noticed was two students not on the same page with assignment responsibilities and an improper way in addressing concerns. <br>2. The "you" statements used in the first half of the video by Student A were one sided, accusatory, and ineffective. The "I" statements in the latter half of the video opened the opportunity for self-reflection from Student B and an empathic response from both students. <br>3. Student B will work on his part of the task. Student A offered to be a resource. <br>4. Students will practice responding with affective statements to resolve conflicts. <br>5. Students will practice empathy according to the PPT. <br>6. In our next community circle. </div>]]></description>

I noticed that when using the traditional "you statements" the other person felt defensive.<br>2.The difference is that the "I" statement provides an opportunity for discussion and learning. The "you" statements are accusatory. <br>3. The students came to terms, where one would would on the task and the other would provide help.<br>4. I will model using affective statements in my classroom. <br>5.My students will learn to use affective statements in the classroom. <br>6. Daily and during circle time.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.</div><div>Student A approached student in a very combative and blaming, which led to Student B responding negatively.<br> 2.</div><div>The approach in the second part by Student A incites a much more calm and receptive reaction for Student B. He uses “I” rather than “you” statements. Approach by Student A leads to increased introspection from student B<br><br></div><div><br> 3.</div><div>That they would both complete their portion of the work prior to the deadline.<br><br></div><div><br> 4. </div><div>When a problem arises with a student, I will take a more calm and collected approach that present the problem as our problem rather than a his/her problem.<br><br></div><div><br> 5.  </div><div>Present information to students so that they understand the value in using affective statements.<br><br></div><div> 6. </div><div>Community Circle </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The problems that I noticed in the You vs I statement were first the tone and ineffective choices in words. <br><br>The difference in both statements were that the first caused the other person to be defensive in his response and in the second scenario he was able to be reflective and respond effectively and honest  to ensure that they could reach their goal. <br><br>The resolution was that they would could complete their project.<br><br>I will ensure that I am modeling I and affirmative statements in my classroom.<br><br>I will ensure that I am modeling I and affirmative statements in my classroom.<br><br>ASAP<br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
