Ralston studies his life and weighs his alternatives for the following five days, eventually coming to an excruciating decision: amputate his arm so that he may free himself and make his way back to civilization, or stay pinned to the canyon wall and possibly die.
The thing which i liked the most about this movie is that , All though he was stuck in between the mountains by boulder , he still had the faith and courage that he will find a way through it alive and he did that, with help of his positive attitude and never giving up commitment.

Chris ultimately secures a position as an intern at a famous brokerage business, but the employment is unpaid. Chris refuses to give up hope as he works to provide a better life for himself and his kid, despite the fact that they must live in shelters and face several challenges.
The best thing which, I liked about this movie which motivates me always is a quote " Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something.

When you need to move on with your life, you need to alter your sails and look to the future rather than focusing on what isn't working. Every one of us has a distinct life objective. And we put forth a lot of effort to get there. However, occasionally we are unable to achieve our intended objective due to unwelcome life barriers. To accomplish our desired objective, we must overcome countless obstacles and endure numerous sufferings. One example is modern social media; most individuals in our generation are distracted by social media lifestyles, which is ruining their future when they could be sharpening their skills for a successful life. Those who don't get distracted by social media have a better chance of succeeding.

Gestures around the world -
Hand gestures play an important role in communication, especially when speaking in a foreign language. They're a wonderful approach to make sure we're communicating clearly and supporting what we're attempting to communicate. When travelling in areas where they do not speak the local language, many tourists will employ hand gestures as a form of nonverbal communication. But keep in mind that not all hand signals have the same meaning in every country!

Types of hand gesture -

) Thumbs up - As an indication of acceptance or that things are going according to plan, the signal for approval or agreement is often seen in European and American cultures. However, in many Islamic and Asian countries, it is considered a major insult. In Australia, the gesture also means all is fine unless the user moves it up and down which transfers the gesture to an insult.

)The "V for victory" or Peace sign - Another hand motion that is fairly widespread is this one. It was mostly used to denote "winning" before to the 1960s. During the Vietnam War and the hippie era, the gesture came to symbolize peace and is now known as the "peace sign." However, in many places outside of the United States, the direction in which the palm is facing has a significant impact on the connotation. The peace sign is the one that generated considerable controversy for George W. Bush when he flashed it to an Australian audience with the palm pointing inside, which is considered a severe insult. In the United Kingdom and South Africa, the V sign with an inward facing palm is also considered an insult.

) The OK - Another frequent hand gesture in America and much of the English-speaking world is the OK sign, which is produced by curling the index finger over the thumb and extending the remaining fingers above it to indicate that everything is going well and according to plan. Divers often utilize it to let their dive partners know that everything is fine. In Latin America, however, the gesture is regarded exceedingly impolite, as Richard Nixon learned when he flashed it to a big throng of Brazilians anticipating his arrival in Rio de Janeiro, who greeted him with a chorus of "boos."
The gesture is also considered an insult in France; in Australia, it indicates "zero," and in New Zealand, the user is seen as a slacker.
