My name is king James I and I was the first puritan king after the great queen Elizabeth I. I was the first English king to translate the Bible into English and we called it the king James bible. I was honored to be part of the founding of Jamestown a prominent settlement in the newly acquired land of America.

I am Charles I and I also believed in the divine right of kings. I also saw the struggles with the Parliament over taxation, religion, and governance. My feud with the Parliament led me to dissolve the governed body multiple times without their permission. This created a conflict which resulted in the English Civil War in 1642.

Oliver Cromwell (1649 - 1658)

I am Oliver Cromwell, I emerged as a military leader during the English Civil War. I was a puritan Army General and was crowned the Lord Protector. I also led the conquest of Ireland and Scotland. I attempted to name England as the dominant European power.

Charles II (1658 - 1685)

I am Charles II and I had been ruled in a rough time during the Cromwell rule. Once Oliver Cromwell died. I returned to England and restored the Monarchy. After the London fire I sought to heal the rounds left by the Civil War.

I am James II, the Roman Catholic brother of Charles II. I had faced lots of challenges with religion and many others. The Glorious Revolution of England began. I had been overthrown peacefully and Solidified the Constitutional Monarchy.

I am Mary, the daughter of King James II. When the Parliament was overthrown, King James asked both of us to rule jointly as a Protestant alternate. Our region is known for the passing of the English Bill of Rights in 1689 which limited the Monarchy.
