         <description><![CDATA[<p>Since the pandemic started, customer perspectives on travel have undergone a significant shift, due to health concerns. Many customers are hesitant to travel due to the potential risk of virus transmission. Alternative 1 is to rebuild trust and ensure passenger safety, airlines must proactively communicate essential information to customers. This includes transparently detailing sanitation protocols implemented within airplanes and demonstrating the comprehensive measures taken by the airlines to safeguard their passengers. Additionally, educating customers on effective risk mitigation strategies is crucial to dispel misconceptions and empower travelers to make informed decisions about their safety while traveling.</p><p>Pro- Customers will be educated and encouraged to travel more allowing Star Alliance to maximize Load factor and increase revenue.</p><p>Con- There is a probability that costumers won't trust these protocols and decide not to travel at all to minimize any risk.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>To encourage customers to travel, Star Alliance should strategically enhance its loyalty program by introducing more opportunities for earning points, providing frequent traveler discounts, and expanding the range of rewards for those who travel frequently. One innovative approach could involve elevating customer experiences by offering complimentary upgrades to first class without extra costs or introducing additional points that can be redeemed at affiliated stores. By implementing these enticing new offers, Star Alliance can not only incentivize passengers to travel more but also ensure that they are rewarded generously, which will give a sense of loyalty and excitement for new travel experiences within the Star Alliance network.</p><p><br></p><p>Pro- customers will be encouraged to travel more because of these new opportunities and might consider traveling more with Star Alliance to get these extra award points. </p><p>pro 2 - Additionally these positive experiences might encourage these customers to publish on social media or ratings which will start normalizing traveling again and more customers are likely to join.</p><p>Con- costumers might be concerned about the potential health threats and rather stay home regardless of these extra opportunities.</p><p>Con 2- customers may be unaware of these offers.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My recommendation would be alternative 2 since is more likely that customers will be interested in these rewards and just follow the basic safety protocols these customers will have new experiences and, therefore will be encouraged to keep traveling this would maximize passenger occupancy and will be faster to implement. This alternative will address the urgency of not having customer trust and will lead to more revenue due to the increased load factor.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>To implement the recommended alternative </p><ol><li><p>Star Alliance management must decide on how many loyalty offers they can give to maximize revenue.</p></li><li><p>Publish the offers and discounts on their websites and apps as well as doing social media advertising to let customers know about these recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Within 1 month apply those offers to encourage customers to travel with Star Alliance and possibly regain trust through good experiences.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
