Who: Galileo Galilei.
What: Galileo Galilei invented the telescope.
When: Galileo Galilei invented the telescope in 1609.
Where: This occurred in Europe.
How: When Galileo Galilei built his telescope he began to look at the planets in which he saw that Jupiter had moons, the sun had spots, and that the Earth's moon was rough.
Why: It is important because it shows us that though he believed what he saw much of what he said was against the church in which they made him take back his ideas. He was eventually put into house arrest until his death, but his ideas still spread.
