         <description><![CDATA[<p>-Intention: I want to grow the capability Element of Being Persistent, developing this element would be meaningful for me because in the future, want to have a career with a demanding atar, meaning high studies, grades. To support growth in this element, I plan to develop the school of - does not give up, forward when set backs arise. - Go running every day at least 2km to get a improved time at City To Bay in September.</p><p><br></p><p>-Milestone: By the beginning of term 4, I aim to run 10km once every 2 months whilst progressively getting faster. This represents my ability to set long term goals and work towards them despite any obstacles that may arrive. If I achieve this goal, it will boost my confidence and and reinforce the importance of persistence in all areas of my life including academic side.</p><p><br></p><p>-Practice: The micro habit ill do 2-3X/week is running around the neighborhood. This practice is more than just exercise, it is a commitment to self discipline. By integrating this technique into my daily schedule, I will develop my mental strength which is required to tackle challenges in my future career. Each run will serve as my dedication and a reminder to personal growth and the importance of persistence when wanting to achieve a goal.</p><p><br></p><p>- Anticipate obstacles: Bad weather occurs? Do a workout at home. Injury? go for a short walk depending on wear injured. Another challenge I may have to face is academic pressure, when I need to stay home and study/complete homework. However taking at least 15 minutes out of this time to go for a run will also help me focus in my school work too. Now that I am working 3 X a week, I find it difficult to manage my time efficiently.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Would setting smaller, more immediate goals help keep you on track? </p><p><br></p><p>Check in 2 reflection regarding this feedback:</p><p>After completing the City to Bay, I realised that staying motivated is just as important as physical training. There were days during my preparation when I felt really tired or unmotivated to run. Moving forward, I plan to set smaller, more immediate goals to help keep myself on track. For example, focusing on just getting my running shoes on and starting with a short distance can make the process less overwhelming. Celebrating these small wins will help me stay positive and motivated. I also want to remind myself of the great feeling I had when I finished the City to Bay, which will encourage me to keep going even on tough days.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Completing the City to Bay run was a challenging but rewarding experience. Throughout the event, there were moments when I felt like giving up, especially when I became tired and my legs started to ache. However, I was determined to finish what I started. I kept reminding myself of my training and the effort I had put in leading up to the run. By pushing through these tough moments and not giving in to the urge to stop, I showed persistence. Crossing the finish line made me proud and proved that with dedication and perseverance, I can achieve my goals.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After completing the City to Bay, I reflected on how the 5C element of "persistence" or "give things a go" played a big role in my experience. Even when the run became challenging and I felt like stopping, I decided to keep moving forward and not give up. By giving it a go and pushing through the tough parts, I learned that persistence means trying your best even when you’re not sure of the outcome. This event taught me the value of not giving in to doubts and proved that by being persistent, I can achieve more than I first thought possible.</p><p><strong><br></strong></p>]]></description>
