In the Learning Forward document 'COLLABORATIVE INQUIRY
A Facilitator’s Guide' they introduce a four-stage model to collaborative inquiry.

I wonder in stage 1. Framing the Problem, could eductaors include collaborative inquiry with student leaders as well? What if the teachers were part of the problem. For example teachers were not updating course content or using the latest technology tools and student learning was limited The idea is to narrow or focusing on student learning needs but what if the biggest need was a change from teachers and they weren't able to identify it. What if in the first activity and planning stages some student leaders were given an opinion on the needs of their teachers or peers?

In some of our discussion posts and prezi's they talk about the road blocks involved with getting Collaborative Inquiry started. I asked how can we overcome some of these obstacles and create an atmosphere to foster collaborative inquiry in school districts. I will partly answer my own questions with the article below but it still leaves some important discussion. If it takes to long to load, I am sorry Paddlet isn't the smoothest operator. Check it out here instead (http://www.cea-ace.ca/education-canada/article/collaborative-inquiry)
