Some similarities I can draw between them is that they are fun and involve big meals in December along with spending time with family. Differences I can point out are things like the same holiday at two different times in the year (April Fools Day/Innocence Day) and the fact that mostly all Spanish-speaking countries are more involved in the community so much so that they have parties down their streets and almost record breaking festivals whereas the U.S. is more "private" with their celebrations.

A lot of the holidays that Colombia celebrate are similar to American but they have there own twist to them and are in different months than the American adaptations of them.

In the U.S we celebrate holidays like Christmas in the winter time and during the holiday we spend time with family and friends. But in the U.S we do not celebrate holidays like Candles days and innocents day during the winter time.

The similarities and differences that I can draw from the Winter Holidays in Colombia and the U.S are the traditions and celebrations. The festivals in Colombia are way bigger and more exciting, and where people can enjoy themselves and their culture. In the U.S have parades or festivals like Mardi gras in Louisiana . In south Carolina we celebrate the business and success of the community in small parades.

Some similarities I found was both U.S and Colombia celebrate some sort of holiday that resembles Christmas. Some differences I noticed were that Colombians throw bigger festivals and it seems like it means more to them than it does to Americans.

There are many similarities, yet Columbia has many celebrations. These include Festival de Barranquilla, Innocents day, the hay festival and more. While the US has 100's as we have many cultures here. Such as Kwanzaa,Christmas, Three Kings day, and other holidays.
