HOMEMADE BREAD

Bread is one of our favorite foods of all time. There really is nothing quite like a warm slice of fresh bread served with a thick pat of butter on top. Mmmmm! This recipe is perfect. It’s simple to follow and quite versatile too. So let's start.
These are the ingredients that is necessary to do this recipe:
Ingredients
* 2 cups warm water (105-115 degrees)
* 1 Tablespoons active dry yeast
* 1/4 cup honey or sugar
* 2 teaspoons salt
* 2 Tablespoons oil (canola or vegetable)
* 4 - 5 1/2 cups all-purpose or bread flour
How to make the Bread
1. Proof the yeast: In a large bowl or stand mixer add the yeast, water and a pinch of the sugar or honey. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes until foaming and bubbly. (This is called “proofing” the yeast, to make sure it is active. If it doesn’t foam, the yeast is no good, and you need to start over with fresh yeast).
2. Prepare the dough: Add remaining sugar or honey, salt, oil, and 3 cups of flour. Mix to combine. Add another cup of flour and mix to combine. With the mixer running add more flour, ½ cup at a time, until the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
3. Knead the dough: Mix the dough for 5 minutes on medium speed (or knead with your hands on a lightly floured surface, for 5-8 minutes). The dough should be smooth and elastic, and slightly stick to a clean finger, but not be overly sticky.
4. First Rise: Grease a large bowl with oil or cooking spray and place the dough inside. Cover with a dish towel or plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm place* until doubled in size (about 1 ½ hours).
5. Punch the dough down really well to remove air bubbles. 6. Divide into two equal portions. Shape each ball into long logs and place into greased loaf pans.
7. Second rise: Spray two pieces of plastic wrap with cooking spray and lay them gently over the pans. Allow dough to rise again for about 45 minutes to one hour, or until risen 1 inch above the loaf pans.
8.Bake: Adjust oven racks to lower/middle position. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Bake bread for about 30-33 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Give the top of a loaf a gentle tap; it should sound hollow.

An orange cake is perfect for any occasion and this orange cake is so easy to make. This homemade Orange Cake is bursting with the flavor of fresh oranges. And very delicious to eat in your school break. So let's start.
These are the ingredients that is necessary to do this recipe:
Ingredients:
* 2 1/2 cups (350g) all-purpose flour, sifted
* 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 4 large eggs
* 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
* 1 cup (240 ml) canola or vegetable oil
* 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice
* Orange zest from 3-4 oranges (the same amount of oranges used to the juice)
* 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How to make the Orange Cake:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Grease a 12-cup (10-inch) Bundt pan or two standard loaf pans (either 9 x 13 inch pans or 8½ x 4½ inch pans for taller cakes) and set aside.
2. In a medium bowl whisk together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
3. In a mixer bowl fitted with whisk attachment, whisk together eggs and sugar on high speed until pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes. On low speed and with the mixer running, add oil slowly until combined. Add orange juice, zest, and vanilla extract and keep whisking slowly until combined. Add flour mixture and whisk just until combined. Don’t overmix.
4. Pour batter into prepared pan/pans. Bake for 50-60 minutes for the bundt pan or 40-50 minutes for the loaves or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. If the top is browning quickly while baking, cover loosely with aluminum foil. Allow cake/cakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
5. Store cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For the best moist texture, the cake is best served at room temperature. This cake freezes well so if you make two loaves, cover well, and freeze one of them in the freezer for up to 2 months, then thaw overnight in the fridge.
