The worst part of the situation was that everybody knew. I didn't want to go to school anymore because it was hard having to hear them talk about my dad running from the cops and having them give me dirty looks. My mom wouldn't let me stay home because of the situation. 

I still had to get good grades and pass my class and ignore the dirty looks I get. When I arrived at school I got to my classroom to see bad things written on the desk, but I just ignored it and sat down. A group of girls were doing their makeup and saw a girl walk past them and trip her to get her lipstick. 

“Thank you for the lipstick. I really wanted to get this one.”  Seojun saidl that had previously tripped her while her friends were laughing. As they countinted to make fun of the girl, I went to my desk to sit down and saw writing on my desk telling me stuff about being a daughter’s criminal. 

      “Look who's here!  Make sure to hide y’all’s things before the daughter of a criminal steals them.  After all, she does take after her dad,” the girl again said with her group of friends laughing at her joke as she walked over to my table with her friends following her around as she went.  “I don't have time for your remarks.” I told her while rolling my eyes trying to sit down on my desk. “They’re not remarks, it's simple facts Nabi, your dad is probably dead somewhere.”  Seojun said as her little group of friends let out giggles. I got angry about what she said about my dad “Seojun go find someone else to bother.” 

 “But I love talking to you” she said, poking my head while saying that to me. 

I hit her head away from me, “oh she is getting a little violent probably the criminal blood she has flowing in her.” she said as she tried to grab my hair to pull as revenge for hitting her arm from poking my head. Before I could do anything the teacher walked in and we all went to our seats to start the class.

After school I walked home to see a police car parked near my and my parents’ and I’s apartment.  I walked past the car and heard the car door opening as the officer got out of the car “Have you heard from your father yet Nabi? If so let us know, Also let your mother know we would want to speak with her as well.”  

  

I walked into the apartment and searched for my mom around the place “Mom where are you, the cops still want to talk to you.” I said but still receiving anything back so I figured my mom wasn't home. 

I walked to the kitchen to get a snack and saw a note on the table from my mom saying she was going to meet my father and talk to him about the situation that is happening. I wasn't surprised that my mother went to see him because ever since that day my father was caught doing bad things and has been on the run ever since my mother has never been home due to her meeting up with and telling him what's happening.    

I made myself some ramen to eat for dinner and I got a call from an unknown number. I answered the phone “hello?’ “Nabi, I missed hearing your voice.” I heard from the other phone and recognized the voice as my dad. “Dad?” I questioned “I wanted to call you because your birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to ask what you wanted to eat to celebrate.” 

“Where have you been?  Why haven't you called?” I said to him but didn't get any single response from my dad. “How was school?” he said, trying to not answer my questions. “Why can't you just turn yourself in? Do you know how hard it is for me going to class and having everyone talking about you being on the run and everyone calling me a daughter of a criminal.” I said as my voice was trying to not break. “I can't turn myself in but ill make it up to you when I see you home tomorrow.” 

“No.” I whispered,  “What?” he questioned “don't come back home. I won't open the door for you. I don't want to hear from you anymore. Everyone thinks you are dead so i'll think the same don't come back i'll consider you dead.” I hung up the phone so I didn't have to hear him respond to what I said.    

30 minutes later I heard someone knocking on the door “Nabi open the door it's me dad” I heard from the other side of the door. When I went to check if it was actually my dad or someone playing a joke on me. I saw my dad on the other side waiting for me to open the door. After I looked and I was about to open the door I saw a person walk towards my dad dressed in all black coming slowly towards him.         

I saw the panic in my dad's eyes as he slowly reached for the door knob to keep the door from opening. As I looked through the glass hole I saw the guy wearing black get a gun out and before I could try to open the door with all my force. My dad was holding the door knob so i wouldn't get harmed and after i kept trying a gunshot was heard. My dad has been shot, the guy wearing all black walked away after he saw my dad on the floor bleeding out. I opened the door fast but it was too late my dad bleed out to death.

I think the stars have so many meanings. People how aren't in your life anymore 

They started a new year at school but they didn't have any classes together and that made them sad because they wanted to be able to talk to each other during class but they couldn't due to not having each other in class. They wanted to get a schedule change so they both would be able to have each other for classes but they didn't tell each other about them having a schedule change because they wanted to surprise themselves with the schedule change. Before school started they got their schedule and told each other what classes they have but they didn't have any together.

As they got their clases changed they told each other about the schedule change only to find out that they don't have any classes together because they moved to on another's class.
