Chair prototype 2 did not end up as successful as the first Chair Prototype on account for the fact that the back was slanted and the seat was bent. Looking back at my first Chair prototype I feel as if it was very successful and therefore does not need much more improvement. It was much harder to create due to the amount of accuracy you must use in order to create working folds. Building prototypes are important and relevant to understanding the design cycle more because:

a) Helps you understand what to amend in the next version

b) Helps change dimensions if necessary

c) Durability of product can be tested
