(2) Explore new technique in classroom management: Positive/negative reinforcement of behaviors via awarding Dojo scores.

The above-mentioned greatly help teachers better manage children's behaviors by more explicitly setting the context and expectations before starting & during lessons.

It was generally manageable but the whole process (recording, curating, viewing videos, self-reflection & reflecting upon colleagues' videos) does take substantial amount of time and it does create some level of stress when things come together.

Yes. We started using visual seating markers to help children have a clearer understanding of their personal space. We also used stickers to motivate them to remain seated for longer periods.
Additionally, we used visuals to remind children of expected behaviours. Instead of the teacher repeating instructions, the children can now identify and explain the expected behaviours themselves.

We'd like to suggest a rotating observation method. For example, with three teachers: A, B, and C. Everyone would review and reflect on their own video, and also observe and take notes on one of the other teachers' videos. During the meeting, everyone would share their observations and reflections. This way, we'd gain insights and learning from three observation reports.

It will be great to bring VCC during outdoor play too. Quality interaction, purposeful play and all can still be observed and achieved outdoors.

It is manageable but the whole process requires time; time to record and time to meet and discuss the VCC.It helps when we remind each other to record videos and do up our notes.

Sometimes it is challenging to come together and discuss as we have other meetings or some members of our team might not be available at a certain day and time.

Strategies suggested for Morris were shared and implemented
For Sab, she tried the trafficlight method for volume management/ sound chart - which worked for the children
There was more awareness on the different strategies that teachers can implement for classroom management

Yes, it is. We are able to observe each others' teaching. We are also able to share and discuss different strategies and pedagogical aspects. We also have opportunities to reflect on our own teaching.

We can expand VCC to outdoors, routines and transitions. We can also consider purposeful play/differentiated instructions. Next year as we move onto single session, it may be easier to overcome some of the challenges (time for meetups, discussions), however it would be good if there are no more than 1-2 cycles per term. We can consider skipping VCC in Term 1 for K1 and in Term 4 for K2.
