Our results are quite inline with the survey conducted and Canada because education is the number choice.

When talking about how they need canadian youth they show a bunch of young ppl at the end, when talking about AI surpassing us they show a girl getting frustrated over a work she’s doing

It/The video features close ups on people's faces from different ethnicities and sex so canadians can all identifiy to / to relate to them, also real life situations with the forest on fire or the couple who seems to learn a bad news to provoke empathy. 

They are trying to create some empathy by showing images of hardships that can happen in people's life. With this empathy they want to unite youth under their banner

This video shows us confident, smart dans healthy young people to make young Canadians  see themselves as so. It shows these people in situation working to show that they are successful.

This ad uses all of this with a large ethnic representation to empower Canadian youth.

The video shown different kinds of ethnic group, they shown woman, man, white, black, elder, younger etc to make it easier for us to identify to/with them.

We’ve been shown different situations in which they are lacking knowledge (medicine) or means (fire force) and where people seemed overwhelmed by their situation, I think that they tried to make us feel empathy for them. It contrasts with the encouraging tone of the narrator.

The video has an optimistic tone that contrast with the few scenarios that have been shown (fire fighter fighting a wildfire/ a family that is moved to tear because they may have been told that a family member has an currently uncurable disease), those are situations that are more likely to happen in the future. This emphasis empathy.

The video is very formal. All the persons who spoke looked very confident, unfazed by everything that was happening. They all looked straight ahead like looking at the future (which is kind of the message of the video). They also played with our emotions during the video. Indeed, we saw a couple crying when the doctor finished speaking to them and also with the firefighter who seems to fight the fire with his bare hands / single handed. In both cases, it looks like the doctors and the firefighters could use some help. And this help should come from the candadian’s youth according to the video.
