Winning that battle earned him the loyalty of Daimyo.<br>2.  A few years later, Ieyasu became the sole leader, or new shogun. He then moved Japan's capital to his power base at Edo. <br>3. Japan slowly began to shift into an Urban city. Edo had grown from a small village to the world's biggest city.</div>]]></description>
