Post your groups Grant(s) of choice. GIVE A RATIONALE for choosing them and fill in as much detail to explain how you meet the requirements of what you want to finance (e.g. schools coaching programme, new artificial tennis court surface etc...). #teamwork e: IainM.Stewart@abertay.ac.uk

The grant that I have chosen is Awards for All (SportsScotland). I have chosen this grant as it offers up to £10,000 which could go towards my local Sunday league football team getting a new small Clubhouse/Cafe. The money from the grant would go towards helping parents and other teams have a place to come when the weather is not so good and get good and hot drinks etc. This would also be handy to hold meetings and maybe even hold a small changing facility for visiting teams. This will improve the clubs services, which is also a requirement needed in order to recieve the grant. Dryburgh Athletic is also a voluntery and community group, which is also a few other requirements.

The grant that I have chosen is from the Prince's trust. This grant can offer £4,000 which could be used to purchase a mini bus for my football team. The mini bus will cost between £2,000 and £3,000. The rest of the money can be put towards the insurance and fuel for the mini bus. This mini bus will help our team to travel to away games much easier. This also will help us travel to away games as a team. This insures everyone arrives at the same time rather than all being in separate cars arriving at different times thus improve our team image.

The grant I have chosen is the McDonalds Kickstart Grant. This grant offers a minimum of £500 and a maximum of £2500. This money will go towards buying new training equipment and replace the outdated and broken equipment. Good quality mitre balls, ladders, hurdles, domes and mannequins are what we will look to buy. This in turn, will improve the sessions drastically. The players will enjoy the sessions more because no session will feel repetitive and the coach will have more opportunities to express his abilities and work on different aspects of the game with his players to make them improve their game.
