"Look out for .... from the class this week!" - do we need to agree how posting from chn is done before we think about parent engagement?

Announcements as reminders. Bring cardboard, bring props. Informal bits and bobs. Computing would be updates on what we were learning. Art, reminders on topics and what could bring or bring home.

Announcements and messages: still be mindful of privacy.- don't deliver any tricky news even if's A 1:1 messaging .

Announcements: similar to what you might say to a class rep, not personalised e.g. please bring a tupperware.

Perhaps info on an upcoming unit and then one post per unit with either photos and a description of what is happening in class.

PTA has said that moving forward ,they will only broadcast and communicate re: PTA events. The Class Reps would appreciate teachers taking on reminders and notices, e.g. no swimming, festival days etc.

Year leaders cannot see messages that other teachers in the year group have sent - maybe there is a procedure for staff to tag the year leader to ensure that the Y is aware of messages sent out to parents?
