1) Concepts can originate from anywhere
2) Key Concepts can include Connection through positive pedagogy - Dylan Williams
3) Using terms such as "can, may, and invite" express open possibilities to the learner

2 Things I found interesting:
1) Shift away from Summative Assessment
2) Observing the "Safe Spaces' created by teachers in the videos we viewed in these two days.

1. Consider different creative spaces in the classroom to ignite passion for learning and to connect with real life experiences.

2. having a model of inquiry and involving students on creating/ilustrating/using it.

-Pedagogy trumps curriculum. I found this refreshing to hear.
-The importance of advanced questioning.
-Connect to Units when it is natural. Don't force it.
