In this paragraph found on page 9, the tone the author makes this section is happiness and shows the narrators side of his happiness when he met her. The feelings he shared and caught for her before even meeting her, exposes the reader to understand the love and feelings he felt for Marguerite. The significance of this piece shows every part of her he picked out and complimented her. This is important to the reader because now the readers are introduced to the love of his life.

On page 21 when Eddie enters his heaven without knowing, and he quickly goes to check on the girl and see if shes okay. Before his death he was on the rollercoaster with a young girl. I think this part is very signficnt because it shows the real and true emotions Eddie actually had, the narrator is seen as selfless for jumping straight to her and making sure she's okay. "He felt her two hands in his" This quote in the paragraph shows that the author tried to show the narrators sympathy.

On page 35, I think this part is very significant because this is the part Eddie is now in realization of where he is and why. It opens up the readers eyes and give the reader a chance to see the narrators emotion reacting the same to the readers. The Blue man is seen as known as an importance in his life right now which he is still confused at during this part, but he gets to finally understand why he is here and what's going to happen. This creates the plot for the rest of the book, knowing where the next places might take place.

On page 55, in this section of his birthday I received a new perspective of him and his mom and how understanding and reliant she was. Eddie is seen being embarrassed about his girlfriend and his mom just wanted to comfort and make him understand that she is there for him.

Now Eddie has realization of his purpose to why he is where he is and now while arriving to his new heaven he stumbles upon the past. I think this part is significant because it shows his emotions returning from the past and its even in heaven. It's seen that he used to be in war and now we get to experience his experience and fear in this chapter from War. At first even himself was confused non where his surrounding were and where he was and then had realization once he found the dog tag and fear returning back to him.

I think this part is Signficant because it shows the emotion and timeline in this time period with young boys. I can relate more to this because both my grandfathers once told me the same thing. Many younger men were forced to go into war or forced to join because that was the standards for a man and they should protect their own country. His confusion now ends when he sees the rifle and army hat and now to relate it back in the begining of the book where he was confused when he seen the grave.

The author uses repetetion to show that everything before was no longer the same. Eddie also explains how war has changed him by taking so much away and gaining new knowledge for the new man he is now. It seen on page 85 as the narrator is helpless and he feels as if he has hit rock bottom.

In this scene the captain explains the reasoning to all of Eddies worry's before. This part is very significant because the Captian is teaching a lesson to Eddie about sacrifice. He mentions his buddy in war, Robozzo and explain he died for a cause and sacrifices for others. Eddie was very tense before this scene on his leg and how his lost so much opportunities from it but the Captain pressures him into understanding sacrifices are needed from other and yourself to thrive. One has to give up with they love most in order to giver others opportunity and advanatge.

Previously we learn that his father was normally drunk but in this section we learn the suffering Eddies brother and himself faced growing up as a child. From the information given in this scene, trauma is right up and readers can put together the action on Eddie later in the book and the reason to it.

This section was significant and important because its giving a great phrase to show the relationship between a parent and their own kid. This section can be used to give an outlook on how the rest of the chapter will turn out and the lesson towards it. The author includes this scene in the book to relate it back to Eddie's father and him. Their relationship was never to good and Eddie was constantly confused on to why, but when time gets older a person will try to be more understanding towards the actions of the things done to them.

This scene in the book was very important because it explains Eddie thought process after his father had passed away.Eddie had a lot going for him and he feels as if all had been taken away because of his fathers death. It shows the anger and the resentment towards his father and the losses he had to take now since the death. Earlier in the book readers realize Eddie didn't always have a good bond with is father after this death and shows how he disliked him. This shows the reason to this and why his own fathers death was a curse to him and the drastic change it created in Eddie's life for the worse.

We learn that Eddie's father wasn't always a good man towards him but there were reasons behind bit and a lot of it Eddie never knew. Ruby opened his eyes towards it and showed him that holding in his anger would only keep him from ever letting go and feeling free towards the problem. At the end Eddie's father was still is dad and hen just never understood and the last thing he wanted was to hold onto that anger any longer.

In this section from a start as soon as he meets Margurite we learn that she was very special to him and he holds her as high as possible. I thought this scene was significant because it shows the emotional excitment that Eddie had. When Eddie was meeting person to person he seemed to have a sad ending to it or just starting bad. Eddie felt different about this person and it's almost as if it was a relief to him to finally get to see her and be able to talk to someone.

The snapshot I took goes into detail about Margurites injury. The author never went to much in detail about her life with him and how it was in the younger days. Not only did the reader get an aspect on Margurites ion jury due to trying to get to Eddie, but we another side of Eddie almost like his father acting immature. The significance is it showed and changed Eddie for good and he made a promise to never do it again from the risk of almost losing his wife because the fault of him.

Margurite was clearly Eddies first and only love. She brought him much joy and he expresses his feelings in this section. This part I selected was significated because she taught him the 4th lesson which was the fact love is in different forms and no matter where you are you can never lose it for the person. Eddie was probably very sad when she passed and ended everything for himself but deep inside she was always with him because he still loved her even after death.

This part was the most significant because throughout the story we learn Eddie hated the Ruby Pier and he was stuck there by force and not by choice. The Ruby Pier was something that he had to do and didn't even like. In this section Tala explained the importance of the Ruby Pier and all along he had a purpose there to protect children and I think this was eye opening to readers because something he hated so much held so much purpose in his heart that he didn't even know about.
