Our Prototype

Our prototype will be a PowerPoint with drawing and supporting text that will explain our idea.

Our idea is double-decker trains (increase in vehicle size) which will go to double-decker platforms (use modern public transport facilities) which will allow more people to be able to get on one train at a time, meaning trains are needed less frequently than normal one level trains, reducing power usage of the train system. Using less trains, therefore using less train drivers and electricity, will allow double-decker trains to be cheaper than the current trains, so more people will want to use our trains. The train will travel through specially designed tunnels to allow it to travel faster without being near houses, roads and crossings. This will also allow it to cover more of Melbourne and allow more people to be able to use it.
