         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Date Read:&nbsp;</strong>02/17<br><strong>Genre:&nbsp;</strong>Science Fiction/Informational&nbsp;<br><strong>Review:&nbsp;</strong>This book is about a teacher named Ms. Frizzle who takes her students to the Arctic for a closer look of what it's like. On their adventure, some students run into trouble and have to use basic concepts of heat to help them out. I liked this book because it teaches about science in a fun, adventurous way.&nbsp;<br><strong>Age/Audience:&nbsp;</strong>This book would be interesting to kids who like science and adventures.<br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong>&nbsp;I could use this book to teach about heat and insulators. Also, how to read dialogue bubbles.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

I really liked this book because it shows humbleness. <br><strong>Age/Audience:</strong> This book would be interesting to kids who like books that are relatable. <br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong> I could use this book to teach students to appreciate what they have. I could also use it to teach point of view.</div>]]></description>

Nobody ever listens to him because sadly it is not entertaining enough for them. Until one day, he brings along his new dog, Gloria, along side him to present the safety rules and she captures their attention! I really liked this book because of the illustrations, the humor, and the safety rules it also teaches.<br><strong>Age/Audience:</strong> This book would be interesting to kids who like books about pets and comedy.<br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong> I could use this book to teach students how to use the illustrations of a text for extra support. </div>]]></description>

I really liked this book because it uses onomatopoeia to make the story more interesting.<br><strong>Age/Audience: </strong>This book would be interesting to kids who like roller coasters.<br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong> I could use this book to teach onomatopoeia. I could also use it to teach how to write a detailed piece on a small moment. </div>]]></description>

However, she is able to win the heart of the mysterious man, whom all other girls wanted. I really liked this book because it is another verision of the classic Cinderella story and the illustrations have stuck with me since I was a little girl because I always thought her brown skin and long, black hair was beautiful. <br><strong>Age/Audience:</strong> This book would be interesting to kids who like folk tales, myths, and retellings of Cinderella. <br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong> I could use this book to teach retelling, folk tales, and figurative language like metaphors, smilies, and personification. </div>]]></description>

I really like this book because it has a few spanish words in it and a glossary in the back to help you if you do not know how to say the spanish word or what it means.<br><strong>Age/Audience:</strong> This book would be interesting to kids who like retelling of Cinderella and books that they can relate to.<br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong> I can use this book with older kids when I am teaching them about different genres. </div>]]></description>

I really liked this book because many students struggle with beginning to write, so this book shows that you can find inspiration where you least expect it. <br><strong>Age/Audience:</strong> This book would interesting to kids who like to read about realistic issues.<br><strong>Possible Teaching Points:</strong> I could use this book to begin a writing unit and teach students not to limit themselves in their writing. </div>]]></description>
