    Smart Material Used: thymolphthalein

    The disappearing ink is made by dissolving a small amount of thymolphthalein in ethyl alcohol followed by dilution with water. The blue color is obtained by the addition of a sodium hydroxide solution. Once the sodium hydroxide is neutralized, the acidity of the alcohol changes the "ink" to colorless.

    Poly stand for Polymer which is a long-chain of molecule forming repeating patterns, the electrolyte is a electrical conductive solution when dissolve in polar solvent such as water the Electrolyte solution  will separate into cations and anions (positive and negatively charged ions) and with heat and friction will restructure itself in a long-chain of repeating patterns
