2021 income tax returns are prepared with software and the majority e-filed including: Federal, Wisconsin and Homestead Credit.  Volunteer tax preparers are certified in tax law by the IRS.
Tax assistance is available for low and moderate income, and the elderly.  There is no income limitation but certain restrictions apply.
Assistance will take place at the 2nd Street Community Center, 211 E. Second Street., Marshfield. Appointments may be made for Mondays from 12-5 p.m and for Wednesdays from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.  Beginning February 14 through April 11th

1.    Insert the flash drive  into the right side of the copier's command panel.

 2.    Place the document(s) in the feed tray.
a.  Or, lift up the top and place a document on the scanning screen if it won’t go through the feed tray (i.e. it’s too wrinkled or is smaller than 8 ½ x 11).
3.    On the copier screen, press Show all in the upper right corner.
 
4.    Press Scan and store.
 
5.    Press Memory media.
 
6.    Press the flash drive name to pick the media.
 
7.    Press Scan.
 
8.    When the green light inside the Start button comes on, press the Start button.
 Note: If you’re scanning one page at a time, you’ll need to repeat steps 2-8 for each page.  This will create a separate file on the drive for each individual page.
 
Removing the flash drive
 
1. Press the green Eject button on the copier screen. (It looks something like this )
 
2. Press the green Remove button.
 
3. Press O.K.  

4. Press O.K.  again.
 
Note: Give the originals and the flash drive back to the patron.  There is no charge for this service.  
 
Note: When you remove the Bypass key, the copier screen returns to the Main menu.
