One of the things I've learned in the IT discussion is how we could use the full advantage of asking information from them or just asking for help in the field they are technically specializing in. The PC rental was the most helpful for me since my current equipment can't handle the softwares that will be used in the future. I also emailed them regarding more details for the PC Rental and I recieved a reply from them minutes later from asking them which is nice!

I've always had questions regarding the documents and the registrar made it clear for us about our questions especially the required documents. I learned about their email which is how we could contact them. I also learned as to why there are blank spaces in my information sheet in edusuite and they clearly told me about it. This talk is very useful to me because I usually have questions and problems relating to the registrar which is something I'm really happy that I got to hear.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Self Improvement by Stephen Covey Reflection

I did a couple of mistakes in the past and I don't really know or explain why it went wrong. As someone who is already 18 and is already in his first year in college, I can explain why I was always misunderstood and why my personality was unlikeable and I've been trying to improving myself time and time again.

One of the first habit that was mentioned was being proactive. In my span of grade school to junior high school, I've always had a habit of reacting to a hard situation, I would always complain to the situation or the people around me if things are going bad and it's really put a toll on my grades and the people around me, it's like as if I'm spreading a negative vibe to them that theyre avoiding me, and so I also weren't able to practice talking normally to people until I went to senior high. Being proactive really helped me work faster and it really made me more composed in the things I say and do. Also, because of that I've also been more understanding to the people around me and think that its not always about me. Another habit explained is beginning with the end in mind. When I was in my younger years, I've always had big and ambitious dreams like "I wanna become an astronaut!", "I wanna become a strong soldier" and it's really something you would usually hear from a 5 year old. As years went by, I began to think that we really have to be realistic on what our future would really be and so I chose to be an artist as my work and my future. I've been practicing and learning about art everyday every since I decided that this would be the path I would to take for my future. Thou of course, I also have a plan B and that would be being a graphic designer because there is really a high risk involved in being an artist in the industry and you don't really know if you'll get in one. As of now, I'm currently studying, learning, and having fun doing art and I am also currently learning as early as I can because I just really have a high standard when it comes to something I really love to do and I think thats a good thing for my future. The third habit mentioned is puttng first things first. This is something I'm also practicing especially I'm already starting college on my way to specialize in Graphic Designing. Ever since I started Senior High in an Arts and Design Track, I've already set priorities for my future, which is becoming a better and more competent artist in the art industry. I'm usually in my laptop 10+ hours a day to work, learn, and draw anything related for the course that I'm taking. I also do videogames, and many other hobbies, but art always comes first. For me this is a very important mindset, because not only will you be able to be more manageable and mature as a person, but you would also build a clearer path for your future. The fourth habit mentioned is thinking of win-win. I'm also applying this kind of idea for my future which is going freelance and working in an art company. I decided on this because I still want to be creatively free in what I do and sustain myself by doing conventional jobs like being a graphic designer or any job related to that. The fifth mentioned is seeking first to understand and this is also one of the things I practiced when I got to a deep relationship. This helped me nurture relationships more not just as a romantic way but also with friends and family. This mindset gave me a path to knowing more people which gave me courage to live more in life. The sixth thing mentioned is synergy which is important but is something I can't really say as of yet since It's hard to explain it. The last thing mentioned is sharpening the saw which is something I'm also currently practicing and also take importance. Im currenly a freelance illustrator and I feel very slow in making and so I'm currently learning more techniques on making myself more productive.

The Placement Officer we met in the online class talks is very welcome and friendly that it's easy to approach him if I have any questions about the things he is specializing. I'm also looking forward and curious on how he will be teaching the class in the future. Other than that, I have a pretty good impression about him and I hope I could get to know him more in the future.

21st Century Skills Reflection

The 21st Century Skills that was shown to us in week 2 has been very useful because some of the things like communication, social skills, and creativity is one of the Skills I've been trying to improve and focus on. As for someone who's doing freelance work, I need to have good communication with clients if ever I'm in the same page as them in regards to the commission they want to recieve. Creativity is vital part in my career since this is something I really depends on for someone who strives to be creatively free and expressive in what I do. Social Skills is also something I also look unto because I need to be good in networking especially if I'm gonna do freelancing. There are also other skills I haven't mentioned but all of the skills in the 21st Century is what keeps me going and being motivated in art. I hope that other people also take this into account on how important this is because just a skill absent to this, makes your life much harder in this generation.

While listening to the Student Formation Officer, I got reminded by things I shouldn't do in the school. Things such as obeying the school rules is something I really need to take seriously. I really found it helpful when he mentioned that they would be very open about students and it gave me ease when he mentioned that he is a priest. Coming from someone who studied in a catholic school for 10 years, I could say that talking and asking advices from priests is one of the calmest and sincere talks you could exerience, you could compare it to something like talking to a psychologist for a therapy, tho talking to priests has more on religion involved as to a therapy which involves to a more technical standpoint.

This meeting is by far the most interesting I had so far with the class. The president gave very helpful advices regarding the industry and how they would be helping us build our careers. I also asked questions regarding to how they will be able to help us and what would be the benefits in going to CIIT and so far, he's been very transparent about it. I'm not regretting my choice in going to CIIT because of the vital information that I was questioning about the school. Things like whether it was accesible, or they would provide quality teaching like other top art schools do.

When the school introduced me to Canvas in which was said would be used for online classes, I was looking forward as to how we will be able to use it for our classes.

I always had questions regarding this platform because of its unuser friendly layout, so in the first few weeks of school, me and my classmates often miss classes and have late submissions due to it. When I head that we will be having another orientation regarding the canvas, I was glad because I found it really hard to use. I listened to the speaker on how the school uses canvas and was relieved and am know able to use it properly ever since.

I always loved topics relating to psychology or how and why people act that way. I usually have thoughts on why and how everyday, maybe because I'm very curious in things that people dont usually think about.

During the guidance class, I was interested in the discussion the speaker was talking about, most especially about understanding yourself and others. It gave me a wider understanding as to why people act that way and I love it because I've always wanted to understand people more most especially when most people dont understand them, basically playing the role of devil's advocate. Upon the end of the discussion, we ended it with #iMatter and I know I may not have taken it seriously when I said because I found it corny, but I know it will remind me about my self worth and how I should love myself more.

The library is a place I often go to when I dont have anyone with me during breaks or if I just want to be at peace. It has been my zen place ever since thats why when the quarantine started, those were the few places I missed in school.

During the orientation regarding the Library for CIIT, I was suprised when they mentioned that we can borrow books, and reference materials for learning. I've always wanted to learn as early as possible and so, having that kind of benefit from the library helps me a lot.

The clinic isn't something I usually visit in school, so It's not really something I could talk much about. That isn't to say that it isn't important to me, I usually go there when I feel really sick in school and I need to rest there so I could go home early. To think that the clinic is still reaching out to its students is heartwarming.
