Dr. King wanted people to have the same rights color or no color. The reason for that is because colored people didn't have the same right and were not treated the best. Dr.king wanted to make a point by giving the I have a dream speech and talked about justice. A little bit about he speech was how colored people shouldn't be treated differently and to not be judged by their color but by their character.

Martin Luther King, Jr. has many themes. but among the strongest of them is that of unity and equality. He longs for a future where people will be united by the spirit within, instead of the color without. Dr. King traverses intense emotional territory, from the “flames of withering injustice” to those “battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality.” But he closes by filling his listeners’ hearts with a hopeful, aspirational message.

I think this because dark skin weren't treated very well. So that is why he made his speach "I have a dream so then people would agree that dark people weren't fully free. And it also talks about how people shouldn't judge people by their color but by how they act.
