My strategy for this AA would be to reach out and make contact with her within the first day and schedule a call. I would look to the survey in MISS to see if there are preferred times for Alicia to connect. I'd want to better understand her Ms and Bs and learn more about the fellowship. It might be helpful to hear from the CCC about Alicia's Ms and Bs and interest in Austin. I might also look for opportunities to connect Alicia to alum who had any similarities depending on the call.

In this situation, it will be critical for the region and RT to directly communicate and figure out who is going to have a follow-up conversation with the applicant. I'd also be curious to know if someone directly asked how them how likely they are to accept their offer/how they're feeling about accepting. More information is needed to be able to address Ms and Bs so that one of their "curiosities" doesn't turn into a reason for declining.

Let's be clear that they were probing... did we ask the "on a scale to 1-10..." question (is that still a recommended question?) Also, find an alum they may trust more - someone from their university with a similar background, etc. - and try that route. Also, BIG EMPHASIS to the QC that it's OK whatever they feel and that we have no judgment and don't want to be pushy - just want them to make the right decision for them (create a safe space for them to openly share concerns)
