I am Rosalind Franklin, a chemical scientist and X-ray researcher. I was born on July 25, 1920 in London. Since I was young, I decided to study chemistry at the University of Cambridge where I graduated. I died on April 16, 1958, at age 37, due to ovarian cancer, caused by exposure to radiation in my research.

I am keen on scientific research, especially in biology and X-rays. Also, the precision when I do a job.

However, I hate the lack of recognition for my discovery of the structure of DNA. Moreover,I hate gender discrimination and inequality because I felt faced with a science dominated only by men.

Azahara De La Cruz y Macarena Jiménez.

Discovered the structure of DNA: It was I who revealed the famous "Photograph 51", it consists of an X-ray diffraction image that showed the double helix structure of DNA. It was so important that thanks to my work, Watson and Crick were able to understand its structure, but I never received the Nobel Prize because I died before it was awarded to me in 1962. Even so, my role was key to science.

Research viruses: I continue researching the structure of viruses. It was important to know how viruses are structured at the molecular level.

1.Walking to work(8:00 AM - 8:30 AM). I start my day with a walk, it is a perfect way to activate my mind and prepare my body for the challenges of the day. 2.Breakfast(8:30 AM - 9:00 AM). Breakfast is not only a pleasure, but I also use it to come up with ideas and scientific questions before the lab. 3.Experiment preparation(9:00 AM - 10:00 AM). I make sure that all the materials are ready for my experiments each day. 4.Teamwork(10:00 AM - 11:00 PM). This time with my colleagues allows me to exchange ideas, adjust theories and find new perspectives for scientific problems. 5. Experimentation(11:00 PM - 1:00 PM). Through my microscope, I work to discover what others could not see. 6. Study at home(1:00 PM - 3:00 PM). Even though I am tired, I continue my learning at home to improve my knowledge.
