"Fight between Good and Evil"
  Montag deals with the quotes thrown by Beatty belittling books and their value, Montag's attention wrapped up in the fight between good and evil that raged in Montag's mind.

"smoke and silence. Large amount of smoke"  The imagery explains how the house was destroyed. 

What is shown in the imagery are firefighters burning a house with "the great python spitting its poisonous kerosene into the world."

"Advanced in a swarm of fireflies" this imagery occurred as Montag watches the house that was full of books burn.

Everything is dark and extremely quiet, it gives us a little hint of the central idea or the topic of the book. The author implies that maybe all things described in the book could happen in te real life if we let the machines have "artificial intelligence".

The machines described in the book are things taht we already have in our houses, headphones, big TV's and pills that relax you. Also we everyday uses the computer or new invenions. Ray Bradbury states that the United States can be the center of it, of a machine controll. Of a lot of burning books.

She talks about a lot of things and in seconds she make him feel uncomfortable with his job and entire life, he starts to doubt about what he does, about the books he burn.

That's the conflict! A poor man doubtful and curious about the way he and everyone around lives. He realizes that her wife and him have been controlled and brainwashed by someone, but who? Because the TV, his Family is there, the headphones in his wife ears? What just happened? He just saw himself in Clarisse eyes and everything change.

He burn an old atic with an old woman inside, he starts searching for answers, he take a book, one, two...he take a lot and starts reading it. He talks to Beatty and realizes a lot of new things, starts to suspect that maybe the government should use their habilities to burn all information in books, or it was a group of people? He was confused, Beatty say something  but he read other opinion.

He doesn't love his wife, he knows that previously but, why is he with her. Its another type of control? He doesn't know it but he's going to investigate more about it. 

But the conflict, everything in Montag's life change when Clarisse just walk nearby him. He start to discover a new and amazing world of knowledge. Someone probably want it all for him, but the world for Montag is bigger now.

He is an unhappy man that is able to see how unsatisfying is his life after experiencing the suicide attempts of his wife and the announcement of Clarisse death. After that, he starts reading books so he can accomplish the destruction of machinery of censorship but he has difficulties trying to do independently of his friends.

Mildred is Montag’s wife. She is a cold and distant person that has some unbearable problems and tries to avoid them by taking pills or watching tv. She also doesn’t support his husband.

Clarisse is a curious seventeen year old girl. She is innocent and loves people and nature. She plays an important role since Montag doesn’t know someone like her and the announcement of “killed by a speeding car”, makes him realize that something is wrong and he is living in a miserable society. 

Beatty is Montag’s boss. Before he cared about books, but he became disinterested in them because they looked the same and now he calls them weapons. He is against independent, artistic and intellectual thoughts. He also tries to convince Montag why fireman’s often go through place full of what are books and why they’re burning them.

Faber is a retired English professor, he becomes Montag’s mentor so he can be able to understand what he reads. He is coward and has a manipulative behavior.
