maybe have catering from a pizza place or water ice, something food wise

last year for 9th and 10th grade hoco, we had lots of random chip bags that were picked over and random lemonade and water. It wasn't the best, and I hope we might be able to do something better this year

maybe with the chick-fil-a problem, put food in cups and distribute? then portions will be equal and less of a mess to distribute at all

I know a lot of people are having fun dressing up with their friends during spirit week. The addition of character day was a very good change because, so far, it has had the most participants of any other day. Having close to 80% of students participating in spirit week is very impressive. It seems like a common theme that freshmen have the fewest participants so maybe focusing on appealing to them to participate would be a good idea.

Since twin day and character day have a big overlap (ex. lots of people doing minions, teenage mutant ninja turtles, etc), maybe change one of the two.

Maybe more colorful posters that grabs the student's attention? I feel like the current one is really small and kinda boring. A new poster for each day of the week will make it more fun and eye catching (this is only my experience from the 9th grade Center soo)

Decades day is good for the first day since that is less effort needed and a lot less kids participate less on Monday.

I saw two people dress up as a political figure for homecoming spirit week and I don't see how that fits any of the daily spirit day themes and, I don't think people should be dressing like that and there should be a rule against that.

I have heard from many people that they are enjoying getting ready for homecoming, theme days, and other events. The theme, decades was incredibly successful because I saw people wearing outfits that would date back to the 1800s.

Instead of just team day, I've seen Jersey vs. Jersey City (wearing a jersey vs. wearing a beachy/tropical outfit). Also, I've seen Country vs. Country Club.

I am a freshman and some people in my class participated in costume day and they seemed pretty happy about it. I think some people didn't participate because they thought you could only wear a shirt with a character on it or just a head accessory.

Maybe bring back neon day again because last year I remember seeing more people participate in that than some of the ones this year. Possibly try to make the days a little more diverse from each other because for a lot of them this year you could overlap.

I think we could have more unique theme days, for example "rhyme with no reason" where ppl dress with someone else as rhyming words, someone could be Hannah Montana while someone else is a Banana. Similar ideas, more creativity, would make things way more fun!
