Have you ever liked someone and u did and said things to make them impressed? Well that is what Victor did with a girl named Teresa who went to his school. He really liked her and wanted to make her his girlfriend. Victor really wanted her, but is it really worth making himself look like a fool? Victor’s gonna have to find out the hard way if he doesn’t come clean to Teresa.

Victor, a boy who worked at a farm and went to school but whose family did not have a lot of money, walked into french class. Victor almost had forgotten they had their first test of the year that day.He saw Mr. Bueller getting the tests ready to pass out to Victor and his fellow classmates. As Victor sat down in his seat, he smelled the fragrance of the apple sitting on Mr. Bueller’s desk. Victor tried to taste the sour chips he saved from lunch that day but quickly stuffed it away since Mr. Bueller turned around to look his way. He heard the whispering chatter coming from the children around him. Victor felt his dusty wooden desk that had a few cracks in it, then again all the desks in the room were dusty wooden desks that had cracks in them.

Mr. Bueller started walking to the desks to pass around the tests, and that only made Victor more nervous. Victor’s stomach began feeling upset, it was like the time Victor ate a bad chili dog and his stomach had hurt all day.

Mr. Bueller announced,” As a reminder to you all, this test is worth 35 percent of your grade”. That had made Victor start to remember Teresa, how at their study session he had to tell her a bunch of fake information about french. Victor knew for sure that Teresa was gonna fail the test if she followed any of the information he told her. At that moment

Mr. Bueller announced,” Begin!”.

Victor knew he was gonna fail this test but all he was worried about was Teresa. He looked at her and all he could see was confusion on her face. Teresa stood up and angrily stomped over to Mr. Bueller. Victor could not hear what she was telling him but he knew that it was not good. When class was dismissed, Teresa ran up to Victor in a furious manner. Teresa screamed,”

VICTOR, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME, THIS TEST WAS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME!!

Victor couldn’t say that he was sorry enough times, right there and then Teresa started storming out of the classroom.

Victor could only think about how he could make it up to her, he decided on something that could possibly work.

Victor stopped her from running out of class and stated,” I am so sorry, I know i messed up really badly but I want to make it up to you.

Teresa shot back sarcastically,” I’m sorry too Victor, I’m sorry that I made you make up all those false facts!”

Victor had to come up with a new plan, and then he came up with one right away. When he got out of class, he went over to Teresa and tried buying her a muffin in the lunchroom. Unfortunately, Teresa wouldn’t even accept the muffin.

Victor was down to his final solution, he thought about it and he decided to ask for forgiveness in a sweet way. When Victor was walking to his locker, he saw Teresa at hers.

He walked up to her, and told her, “I told you I’d try to make it up to you”,

with a rose and chocolates in hand.

Victor put down the rose and the chocolates, took her hands and exclaimed one more time, “I truly am so sorry, I only did all this because I really like you and I wanted to impress you.”

Teresa took the rose that smelled like a rainbow.

Victor finally spit out, “Will you please give me a second chance and maybe go out with me?”

Teresa thought about it for a moment, and decided to go out with him. Victor could not believe it, he was jumping up and down filled with excitement! Victor tried to stop smiling except he couldn’t, he was smiling big and bright like the sun. And to think, this all started with them being in the same class. Looks like Victor did find out the hard way, but I guess it was worth looking like a fool for him. Victor learned that day that he or anybody should try to be someone they’re not.
