Mary Warren has stated that she and the other girls were pretending to be attacked to get people they didn’t like in trouble. Now, Mr. Proctor has confessed of having an affair with Abigail in order to prove that Abigail is just trying to take out his wife. When Mrs. Proctor was questioned she stated that her husband would never do such a thing, proving that Mr. Proctor was lying. As of right now, the girls are being brought in to be questioned and have said that they weren’t pretending. Out of nowhere they began to be attacked spiritually by Mary Warren. Mary Warren has now begun to be attacked by Mr. Proctor saying that he forced her to do the devil’s work. Reverend Hale is nowing leaving the court, clearly in anger. Mary Warren had claimed that she was attacked by witches, but when she came in she claimed that she and her friends were pretending and were doing it for sport. When the girls were called in to be questioned , Abigail Williams claimed that they were not lying. Upon hearing this Mr. Putnam shockingly claimed that he committed adultery with Abigail 8 months ago. When Mrs. Putnam was called in to be asked about it she says that he didn't to protect Mr. Putnam's name. Following this the girls claim the Mary Warren was attacking them. This makes Mary Warren turn on Mr. Putnam when she accuses him of forcing her to work with the devil. They were claiming (thankfully) that the girls had been lying about how they were being attacked by witches. Mary Warren stated that they were doing it for sport and didn't mean for it to go that far. When the girls were question they all lied instead of confessing and said that they were indeed being attacked by spirits! I mean, come on, Mary Warren had given you a free chance to stop your act and save the people who were condemned , but no, you don't want to look like a liar. After many more events happened the girls had still not confessed about how they were lying and Mary Warren ended up turning against Mr. Putnam. We now have a problem, here in Salem, we are allowing little girls to control us and are letting them choose who lives or dies.
