Average debt per borrower in 2014 graduating class.

Student Loan Debt

- You cant really start saving for the future until your student loan is payed off. Learning about financial planning is actually a great way to learn saving tips which will benefit you towards paying back your student loan. One of the best ways is creating a budget or setting a fixed amount per month you are willing to pay back. If you are on OSAP you can start budgeting and saving right after school because you do not have to pay back your loan till 6 months after you graduate! I personally plan on creating a budget right when i am done school so i can save up a good amount that i can use to pay off my student debt fast.

Student loans

This video shows how a student had to borrow money from the government for a student loan over the last few years, and is still taking on the consequences for it years after being done school. its incredible to see what students come out of school owing. Students that are taking anything in the medical field such as medicine or being a doctor some students are coming out with $100,000 in debt and once they actually get a job it can take them up to 10-15 years just to slowly paying off their student loans. Some of my friends parents are still paying off theirs!
