Il existe différentes versions selon la région. Ils accompagnent leurs chants du son  d'un triangle en acier, et reçoivent en récompense de l’argent et des gâteaux.

Des jeunes  (et de moins jeunes) se jettent à l’eau pour la récupérer. Celui qui réussira sera béni et il aura de la chance pendant toute l'année.
