Many times organizations have either a mission or vision statement - so if you cannot find the mission statement for your RWCS, that may be the case. I worked for 3M for almost 9 years, so I am sharing their vision statement here:
"3M continues to be inspired and motivated by our corporate vision: 3M Technology Advancing Every Company 3M Products Enhancing Every Home 3M Innovation Improving Every Life "
Their competitive business strategy is differentiation. 3M continues to encourage employees to develop new and innovation products that are of the highest quality. Think about the "Post-it" while the patent has run off on that product, their Post-it's are by far the best on the market.
Pat Mielke

Mariner Finance's mission statement is, "We provide hard working consumers responsible access to credit through respectful, compassionate, and efficient service." Mariner Finance believes that to stay relevant in today's finance industry they must provide the best customer experience to every person that walks through the door. The mission statement guides all the different workers in the company, to create one united effort to better the consumer finance experience. This business's competitive strategy is differentiation. Their goal is to differentiate themselves from the rest of the competition by always treating the customer with respect and creating responsible loans that will help the customer instead of create more hardship. According to Shane Gasch, Assistant Vice President of the western Wisconsin region of Mariner Finance, "80% of highly performing companies found that standing out from your competition is the center of their business strategy." The interactions must be relevant to the customer, mutually reinforcing, clear to everyone involved, measurable against the competition, and that to create the best customer experience the company must stay up to date with technological advances. Shane said that within the company, although more expensive, there will always be a brick and mortar business for their customers to visit, because this allows their customers to really get to know who is helping them with their financial needs. In the end Mariner Finance wants to lead the consumer finance industry with, customer service, customer Inquisition, speed, agility, flexibility, nimbleness, and field operations.

Cited Source
Gasch, Shane.
Culver's mission statement is "Every guest who chooses Culver’s leaves happy." They center their focus around customer service and quality. For example, their prices are higher (compared to surrounding fast food restaurants), but people will pay it because of their strategy. Yes, I believe their mission is supported by the service they provide. Hospitality is at the forefront and helps ensure guests are happy, not only with the food, but their experience while choosing to dine with them.

Woodman’s Food Market does not have a mission statement. I believe their mission statement should state, “Woodman’s Food Markets mission is to be known for and thought of as the first and only option to serve the communities area wide by providing low prices, high quality products, and rapid unmatched service to make the experience a positive, lasting one”. I know first-hand the importance they place on providing quality, low price products that customers can use to make their lives happier. This mission statement would highlight their principles, goals, and values. Woodman’s main operational strategy is low cost. The goal is to provide outstanding prices in all of the departments. This gives the customers more enjoyment while shopping knowing their bill will not be nearly as large as it would be at other stores. This also helps customer retention. Once they come into the store and see the low prices and sales they are very likely to come back and shop again. To accompany low prices, Woodman’s also places great emphasis on providing excellent quality. Woodman's also implements its competitive strategy by providing great daily sales are an excellent incentive to save even more money while shopping there and this is a huge part of what the store and business is about. Woodman’s uses its low-cost products to attract a wide range of people. Whether you are wealthy or not so wealthy, you can afford the products that the company provides. The store also has a flyer on their website as well as in-store coupon machines that customers can use to save some money on their groceries.

-Austin Weber
