The most memorable team building activity that I remember would be the human knot because it is enjoyable and it incorporates everyone who is playing. In this team building activity everyone stands in a circle facing each other, shoulder to shoulder. Then, everyone puts their right hand out and grab a random hand of someone across from them. After, they put their left hand out and grab another random hand from a different person across the circle. Within a set time limit, the group needs to untangle the knot of arms without releasing their hands. A drawback about this game is that if the group is too large, you will have to make multiple smaller circles and have the separate groups compete. This game definitely relies on good communication and teamwork.
-Oscar G

One string per student in group.
Differenciations: Optimal number of students per group is usually 3-6 could be modified to whole class with long strings for a challenge. Amount of cups, string length, movement of cups from one location to another, stacking/unstacking, could all be variations of the game.
-Erin Daines

Team Juggling

One of my favorite team building activities is team juggling! This involves grouping students of 6-8 per group. The students start by passing a basketball. Call the next persons name and tossing it to them. The members of the group get to know each other and build trust by passing the ball. The game gets more complex when you add a second ball to the group. Now team members must work cooperatively to keep both balls in motion.

Wendy B.
