You have also been an excellent listener that asks thoughtful follow up questions whenever we have been in small groups together.  
· Contemplative: I wrote this word as a first impression, and it has only been reinforced. You are introspective and thoughtful about your life and what you want from it.  
· Inspirational: Your leadership statement really says it all – you want to inspire creativity and genuine excitement. We really don’t deserve dogs, so the fact that you want to be a ‘golden retriever’ speaks to how much you want to inspire and comfort others.

 My first impression of you was you are easygoing, funny and someone who does not take himself too seriously - but does all this in a professional and refreshing way. You confirmed that by embracing your Golden Retriever spirit animal throughout the class. Your attitude and spirit was contagious and it put a huge smile on my face and the face of the entire class.

The Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor that I think best captures your spirit is Boots on MOOOO'n.  Ben and Jerry's has a lot of silly, fun-loving flavors but I think this is the most playful one. It has little cow chocolate chunks that are adorable and you can't help but smile when seeing them. I think you enjoy bringing a little of fun and humor to serious situations and actively lean in to that part of your personality nicely. 

My hope for you is you continue to lead by example and inspire others to embrace and lean into the things that give them joy in life.

This class has reinforced how grounded you are, and I really admire your clarity of vision as you know so strongly what you want and what you stand for, particularly in your home life and as a husband to Chrissy.

This reminds me so much of Russell Westbrook, as on the court he is an explosive player who is difficult to guard – similar to how I view your leadership presence. Furthermore, no matter what the situation Russ goes 100% and never compromises, as he is clear about his style of play and who he is as evidenced by his mantra "Why Not". Finally, no matter what Russ is a strong family man first and foremost committed to his wife and children.

Age of empires is a game of strategy where players need to focus on many things throughout the match in order to succeed. You need to acquire materials, build your economy, advance through the ages, build a strong city, and finally conquer others. This game requires stability in your economy and analytical decision making. That is why I believe this game relates to you. I know for a fact how smart and analytical you are, seriously it is becoming embarrassing how hard it is to win at chess against you. And the way you approach your life, building a sound structure in your home, at Kellogg, and at your future job shows the stability that I wish to have one day. Finally, you are also warm. You care for others and you are always reaching out to them.  

I see you as a leader that has emotional awareness of his team members. A leader that knows when to push and when to help them. People trust your mental prowess but they follow you because of your emotional intelligence. I hope that you continue to build your life with the balance and stability you have showed until today

My first impressions of you were that you were smiley and calm – it’s interesting how similar attributes were tied to areas of development by others for you because I personally appreciated that aura in class. Throughout the quarter you’ve displayed a high level of introspection and vulnerability that clearly started before PLI. I was particularly impressed by your decision to move back to CO after reflecting on who you were becoming versus who you wanted to be – beyond career goals and leadership I’m not always sure that most Kellogg students think with that level of insight and self-awareness. I chose gardening for you because you have been and I imagine will continue to put in the work to build strong connections and be a support for your family and friends. Gardens need that same level of patience, work, and care to create something fruitful.
