1. Responsibility is the task of having to do something or be in control of something. Responsibility looks like someone being assigned a task, and then completing that task.
2. Responsibility means to me being trusted to complete my work. Furthermore, it also means taking care of what I've been trusted with.
3. A time someone counted on me to get something done was when my sister needed to go to work for the day, but had a lot of dishes that needed done. Since she wasn't going to be home, she asked me to do them for her, so I did.
4. Responsibility is a learned skill, in my opinion, because at a young age you can't really trust kids as much as you can trust adults. Although kids can be trusted with smaller things like chores or homework, but even then they need monitored to make sure they did it.
5. I can improve and become more responsible by thinking about the consequences that will happen if I don't do what I am asked. I can think about how it will effect me, and how it will effect the other person.
Feedback
Lucas, do you think you're responsible in school, or just at home? Do you think it is more important to be responsible at home or at school?

write two sentences for each question
1) What is responsibility?
Responsibility is being accountable to fulfill duties that need to be done. Sometimes you have to do what you don't like to do but you do it because it needs to be done.

2)What does it mean to you? Responsibility is important to me. It means no matter how I feel I need to suck it up and do what is expected and needed of me. As a parent and a wife I have many responsibilities to care for my family. When my children were little I didn't always want to cook but I had to feed my children. I did't always feel like going into work but I had to make money to care of my family. I was responsible for their well being.

3)Explain a time when someone counted on you to get something done.
As long as I can remember my mom or dad or husband or children have counted on me to get things done. My mom would count on my to have the house cleaned before she got home from work. Every other day I cleaned the bathroom, in addition to my daily chores, and on the opposite days I had to cook dinner. I was responsible to have her uniforms ironed. I was responsible to go to school and get good grades, work, and graduate. As a wife and mom, my family counted on me to cook, clean, do laundry, care for them when they were sick, and give them the attention they needed.

4) Is responsibility a learned skill?
I do believe you can learn to be responsible. You have to want to be responsible and have to work at it if it doesn't come natural or hasn't been instilled in you.

5) How can you improve and become more responsible?
It all has to come from inside yourself. What you tell yourself has a huge impact on being responsible. Then practice. How to improve may look different depending on what you are trying to do.

6)Feedback comment : person above your padlet.
Mrs. Whitley, I think it is awesome how you are always there for your kids when they count on you to be there for them even if its short notice.

1. Responsibility is being able to be counted on to follow through with something. It means doing what you say you are doing to do or doing what you are asked to do.
2. Responsibility means maturity. It means that I can rely on that person.
3. My daughter, Maria, counted on me to come to her appointment with her surgeon. She needed me to figure out the insurance questions to know how much she needed to pay out of pocket. I showed up for the appointment and followed through on what she needed.
4. Yes. Responsibility is a skill that is learned. It is not learned through knowledge alone. It must be learned through application and practice over time in a real setting.
5. I can improve and be more responsible by giving myself more time to get places. It is more responsible to be early than to be late.
Feedback:
Scott. That is great that you were responsible to cover a shift for a fellow employee at work. How many times have you covered for someone? How many times have you had to call off? Have you ever had a no call, no show?

1. Responsibility is being mature about things and get stuff done when told. Responsibility is also taking thing in your own hands.
2. Responsibility means being a man about things and being mature. Acting like an adult and doing things you know that should be done.
3. A time someone counted on me was when I was in Bethlehem and I had to watch my nephew. I had to watch him while my sister went to work.
4. Yes, because if you are not taught at a young age you will having trouble doing stuff in life. Like you will probably not have good responsibility when you are older. 5. You can improve responsibility by doing what you are told and doing it right away. You can also improve responsibility by doing what you say you are going to do.
Feedback - Scott I think you did a good job doing the padlet and making the questions.

1. A duty or obligation to satisfactorily perform or complete a task (assigned by someone, or created by one's own promise or circumstances) that one must fulfill, and which has a consequent penalty for failure.
2. Responsibility means holding yourself accountable of the important things that you need to do. And taking things into your own hands without having to be told to and redirected multiple times.
3. A time when someone counted on me to get something done was when I had to clean the house. My mom asked me to help her out by cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen and living, taking the trash out.
4. Yes it is. Because, if it wasn't a learned skill no one would know how to do anything right and everyone would be Procrastinating a lot. I also think it is because when your younger your parents teach you how to get your homework done and how to clean your room and when to get little things done in a meaningful time.
5. How I can improve on becoming more responsible is by not leaving dishes in my room and building it up. I'm not that responsible when it comes to dishes in my room.
Feedback- Nate: I like your picture
