Tim is a sixth- and seventh grade teacher. His method of teacher is based on Socrates method "Socratic method". As the picture shows, he is having a conversation with the students and the students are giving ideas and giving their own thoughts. The article about him says that instead of making the students raise their hands, the students participate like a normal conversation. Implementing this method with their students, Tim wants them to apply it to their learning and their own life.

is not unknown that philosophy has inspired the way we see the world today. The perfect example for this is Socrates and his method. The Socrates method is based on asking questions to stimulate critical thinking. With this method, the education can make people have their own conclusions, try new ideas that they may not have think of. Also, learn in a way to solve problems based on their own conclusions.

Does the American Dream can happen in other countries besides the United States?

In my opinion, the whole idea of achieving the American Dream is relative and depends of how people see the situation and the different prospective of it. We all know that the United States is one of the most powerful countries in the world and that people that immigrate to this country come to build a better life and a better future. For me, that is the american dream.
In other countries, people also want to have a better future, have their own dreams and be free. Like I said before the "american dream" is relative and depends on how people see their situation, same as in other countries but is not as popular as in the U.S. One example of what I am trying to say is Colombia and Spain. A couple of years ago, a lot of Colombians were going to Spain in other to have a better life quality. Doesn't that sounds like the American dream? well it does for me because that is how I see it.

BUREAUCRACY AND CENSUS

In my opinion, the census are very important for every country not just because it determinate the population, also because it shows the diversity of a country. As we all know, America is built of people around the world, people with different perspectives, different ways of thinking and different cultures. That is why regardless of the census form we were probated, some of these questions could be problematic AND confusing. For example question number 7 asks if you are Spanish, Latino, Hispanic, or if you are not one of those. Well not too hard to answer, but in question number 8 it asks you your race again and if you are white, black, american Indian etc.. and it specifies that you have to answer both questions. To be honest I did not know what to answer when I first saw a question like that.
Even though I think question number 7 and 8 can be a little bit complicated and confusing, I do not think any of these questions should be remove because like I already mentioned before, the United States is a multicultural country where we have a lot of people from different races and also mixes, and those dates can be useful for many researches and statistics. Instead of cutting the questions off, I would provide a better information about the form of a previous explanation in a way everybody would be able to answer these type of questions.

The Colosseum in Rome was a big influence on the population. It was the place where they met together and entertain, get the wheat, watch gladiators combats, animal slayings and executions.
In my opinion, we have modern structures that have a similar meant. One of them is the Amway Center here in Orlando. I found it similar because is a place where a lot of people met in the same spot. You can either watch people playing sports while you eat or even buy your favorite Orlando Magic shirt in the same place. Even though we do not see people get kill in the Amway Center, it has a similar meaning and the book says that the modern sports Colosseum are based on the the Roman Amphitheater.

MEDIEVAL CATHEDRAL- HINDU TEMPLE

In my opinion some similarities between medieval cathedral and Hindu temple are the images. personally I do not that much about Hindu culture but what I can see from pictures of Hindu temples is that they have a lot of "people" on the temples. I put people in " " because I do not know if those images are just people or their are someone special for them. Another similarity is that someone leads the words. Some differences in my opinion are off course they both do not share the same believes and they do not share the same thoughts.

This image is the perfect example of something inappropriate and disrespectful because the guy is throwing away what represents the religion, and the religion played a very important role some years ago and even today's days, religion is something that we have to respect so we can live and have a good environment.
