A frustrated non-reader

1. As a non-reader, it doesn't mean we don't get information from other sources, We can view videos/ other mediums to get our information.
2. It may be frustrating because most teachers generally promote the reading of hard-copy books. Books they promote may be very boring.
3. Libraries are external venues - very troublesome to visit. We don't have much chance to go to the library because students are in the class most of the time. We don't get to enjoy the space.

1. Flipping the pages makes the experience more real for them.
2. By flipping through the actual book, the readers can easily see the synopsis and get a better sense of what the book is about.
3. There is security (validity) when they see the printed copy as compared to a digital read. The library coordinators would have also endorsed the print copies as compared to the digital copies which could be easily uploaded by anyone.

What would frustrate these readers/put them off reading or going to the library in these times?

1. For non-digital readers, the present landscape may cause frustration or anxiety, as well as limitations that have been put on.
2. Convenience. It is a little easier to download novels on the go or at home at night rather than putting time aside to physically making the effort to go down.
3. The students already carry heavy loads and this would add to their burden.
4. Variety of novels. The novels found in the library may be sanitized whereas those in the public library offer a wider range.
5. The number of digital copies are tends to be a lot higher whereas the printed copies tend to be limited.
6. Digital copies allow readers to easily return the book if it is not appealing after a few chapters. However, with a printed copy, the reader is kind of stuck with it till they physically go back to the library.
7. The distance of the library may serve as a hindrance. For eg, library on the 3rd floor.
