The actions I would take is learning more ASL and hoping my family would learn too. I'd hope to create connections with others of the deaf community as well.

How it would affect me is in communication, It could change my relationships with my friends and family slightly. I could potentially get new deaf friends by going to a deaf school. In order for my friends and family to understand me is to write to them or teach them to sign, or get hearing aids. For them to support me is to learn how to sign.

If I was deaf, this might really change how much my friends like me. They might find it kinda cool, they might find it annoying to communicate with me. Online friends wouldn't be affected as much, but people might slowly grow away from me. I would have to have an effective way of communicating, and knowing when someone was trying to talk to me. This would also make class extremely hard too. Family and friends just have to talk to me through text because I am still in the process of learning ASL.

I do know a little ASL but that's simply not enough because not everyone knows it and i'll be stuck by myself. If i woke up deaf tomorrow i think i would be very upset, but over time i'll get use to it and i'll accept it and learn to embrace it, my family and friends would be shocked by it but knowing how my peers and family members are they would be so so supportive that they will try to adapt to my new disability. But in the begining it would definitely affect my relationships but like I said once they get use to it, it wouldn't be to much of a ploblem knowing how supportive my family and friends are.

If I wake up tomorrow as a deaf person i believe i could do just as best as i can with hearing. Being deaf tomorrow can change the relationships with my family by having to learn ASL which is hard for most. the steps i need to take to maintain my relationships is probably just help learn the best of my abilities to try and be oral and it takes time to learn but but baby steps are the way and along the way make new friends that's in my community. my friends and family would do anything and everything in their way to help me or even to help contact me not just by text but actually a way to communicate face to face.

If I woke up tomorrow as a deaf person, I don't think I would even know what to do. I think I would definitely freak out at first because I know that my life is going to change, but after that I would learn how to adjust to this new environment. I would do this by learning sign language, as well as learning to read lips. This would definitely be challenging because I was hearing all my life, but I know that eventually I'll get the hang of it. I would also encourage my family and friends to learn sign language, so that we are able to keep our relationship somewhat the same. It would help me be able to know what they are saying, but it would also help them learn more about the deaf community and its perks and challlenges.

If I suddenly turned deaf I would finally be able to understand what deaf people go through and probably be friends with more of them and be pretty sad knowing I'll never hear my family's voices same with friends.

A good, no great thing would be that I would never have to hear dogs barking, people screaming, forks on a plate and fire alarms.

If i woke up tomorrow as a deaf person i think i'd cry, not because it bad but only because id be scared about how being deaf would change my life and because I wouldn't be able to listen to music. For my relationships with people i think it would kinda change the way they see me and it would alter a lot of the things that we would usually find normal. I think the steps id take would first be telling my parents so then they could take me to the doctor so we could find out the condition I'm in concerning being deaf and then I'd just hopefully try to learn how to lip read since I still know how to speak English and I'd try to learn sign so I can communicate with other deaf people .

If I woke up as a Deaf person tomorrow I'd be really upset because I can't listen to any music. I may feel the vibrations of it, but I can't really hear the beat and the lyrics of any song. My relationships with friends and family will change a lot since I'm a very talkative person, and now, I wouldn't be able to communicate with my parents at all, so they would either have to get me hearing aids or learn ASL.

If I woke up tomorrow as a deaf person this would affect my relationships because no one arounds me knows ASL, and I don't know it very well yet. My entire family would be freaking out because they don't know what cause my loss of hearing. I probably wouldn't be able to communicate with my friends very well since I couldn't hear them. Though that could probably be worked around since even though I cant hear I can still talk, and see. So I could just talk to them, and they could give me notes to read. Then again since I can't hear I wouldn't be able to notice how loud or quiet I was being. I probably couldn't do cheer anymore since I memorize my moves to the music, and I wouldn't be able to hear the counts during practice. I wouldn't be able to enjoy music the same way I did before, or know most things happening around me. I think my family members would need to at least learn the basics of ASL along with me, and my friends could at the very least treat me like they did before.

Okay, first, this depends on how deaf I became. If it's only a small degree, I'd just go on with life normally. I'd probably just be saying "wha, or hugh" a lot. If it's a lot deaf or completely deaf, I'd tell my parent to probably go to the hospital, see if there is any way to get my hearing back. If the doctors say no, then I'm going to the only true healer and miracle worker there is, and that would be God. And if it's his will that I should be deaf, I'll just accept it and move on with life. As for my friends, I wouldn't have much of a problem because half of them are taking ASL, and for those who don't, I'd have the written word or text them. The only place I can think of that I'll have the most problems is at home. Mainly bc my sister is in Spanish, not asl, and everyone else knows no asl, so to kinda solve the problem, I'd have them do the same thing as my friends who aren't in asl write or text me.

I would try to learn ASL and try to speak and read lips. I would try to become friends with ASL people or teachers to help me learn. If I woke up deaf, I think that none of my family or friends would believe me at first. I think my family would say I'm being dramatic, though, at least I wouldn't be able to hear them say that to me. My friends would probably believe me if I really insisted. I know that I, myself, would react very strongly. I would panic and sob and realize all the things I will no longer be able to do or hear; I will have to rethink my whole life. I would try to maintain my relationships with family and friends by trying to write things down, and I would continue learning ASL in hopes they would too. It would strain my relationships with my family members, as they would be easily frustrated with me. But I would feel good knowing that I won't bothering them anymore with my singing and constant talking about things they do not care about, or tell my overly detailed stories of what happened at school or at a rehearsal (I probably wouldn't be able to do theatre anymore). I do think I would fall behind in everything I do. I will no longer understand the world around me, and everyone will move on. In order to support me, my family and friends would need to be patient with me. I would hope they would try to make accomodations for me. Or, at the very least, just stay with me to let me know that maybe it won't be all that bad.

If I woke up tomorrow as a deaf person, I think I would be upset. I love to talk and listen in on other conversations or play music. If I couldn't do those things regularly, I would often be distracted and upset. It would change my relationships because they would have to take the extra step to learn ASL or use their phones to communicate with me. In order to maintain those relationships, we'd have to figure out a form of communication. Creating new relationships would be difficult because communicating would be different with each person, one might know ASL or want to try and learn and another might not want to learn or take that extra step. In order to support me I would want my friends and family to learn ASL with me to be able to talk like we used to.

if I woke up as a deaf person I think I would panic at first for not being able to hear or talk. I would tell my family and friends what happened and try my best to maintain stable relationships. I would try to convince my family to learn ASL (which thankfully one of my sister does) and also try to convince my closest friends. if they don't learn, I feel as if our friendship would drift apart but if they are willing to learn, I think it would bring us closer together since they would be willing to learn sign language for me. I would also try to make new deaf friends for a sense of community and understanding.

If i woke up as deaf then i would probably be very concerned for my health since its so sudden.I think this would prevent me from communicating with my friends and family properly, creating a barrier and limiting my connection with them. Id have to learn sign and maybe participate in deaf communitys. my friends and family would have to be paitent as i try and communicate and they could also learn sign to talk to me.

If I woke up tomorrow as a deaf person, my relationship with my friends and family members would change drastically. In order to maintain my relationships and to have the opportunity to create new ones, I would need to reevaluate my expectations and valued qualities in friends and family so I could properly surround myself with the people who would treat me with the same respect they originally did, regardless of my ability to hear. I would attempt to educate those around me on the Deaf community and I would request certain behaviors from them so that we could maintain a healthy relationship. I would ask for them to be patient, open-minded, and willing to learn ASL or other forms of communication that don't strictly involve verbal speech or writing. I would be devastated, as music plays a significant role in my live, but I would try to adapt to my new life to the best of my abilities. The new sensation and loss of hearing would feel foreign to me, and I would feel slightly paranoid or wary of my surroundings, but I would learn to adapt and grow.

It depends how much of my hearing I lost, because if it's only a small amount I would just try to carry on with my regular daily life. But if I fully lost my hearing, my parents would most likely take me out of regular public school and put me in a school for deaf children and teens. This will be challenging for my family and friends but my mom already knows a little bit of sign language and I know my parents will do anything to connect with me. If I woke up deaf I'd be a little confused on why I cant hear. My relationships with friends and family could change because they could start treating me differently because I cant hear and keep up with their conversations and lip reading is pretty difficult as is. If I woke up deaf suddenly one day, I would be pretty upset to be honest. I would feel sad that I can't listen to any of my loved ones voices anymore, listening to my favorite music, dancing to songs because I can't hear it, and much more. I feel that my whole life would change and not be the way it is currently at the moment. I think I would still push myself to do as much I can when it comes to ASL and try my best to fit into the deaf culture though. Also, just live life they I live it right now and normalize being deaf.

If I woke up deaf tomorrow, I'd be grounded because my dad likes to be difficult and listen to me until the last second, but besides that, I think I'd be perfectly fine but the thing I'm low-key worried about is not being able to hear the huzz's voice but then again we can always pass notes, text, or sign to each other so I'm not worried about that.

I'll be fine if I was deaf because if I don't want to talk to anyone I can switch my hearing aid off or look away if they're signing.
