They can feel joyful and excited, yet angry and frustrated after that. However, after several studies and research, soundtrack music in video games plays a vital role in evoking solid emotions of enjoyment and entertainment (Klimmt et al., 2019). Furthermore, the emotional impact of the music depends on the context and the type of music (Boltz, 2004; Bullerjahn & Güldenring, 1994). Therefore, I would like to use a fast-paced and exciting video game soundtrack and match it with warm-toned color lights for this project. The research was done by Griswold (2022), who explained how designers and engineers collaborate to build a thrilling and safe ride simultaneously. By implementing a similar feeling of thrill when people ride a roller coaster outdoors, I want somehow to replicate that emotion and experience through the lights. The primary colors will be red, yellow, and purple.

The idea for this project is to show what we can see when a person closes their eyes, using neon graphic lines that will look like lights taken with a slow shutter speed. An investigation by Trahan et al. (2018) revealed that 62% of the respondents used music to sleep effortlessly. They most likely listened to music with slow, quiet, and minimal characteristics, which is more suitable as a sleeping aid than other music genres. Therefore, this project will use slow and calming classical music that is enjoyable for everyone. I want to imply minimalism in the video while trying to make it unique and not boring. Minimalism has been shown to reduce stress and increase happiness (Millburn & Nicodemus, 2016). By making a minimalist video with a calming sound, I want to achieve a serene emotion for the viewers.
