Back then, the diagnosis was new and very little was known about it. Despite Doctors telling her mother she would never speak, she went on the earn a doctorate and change the face of the cattle industry. This book discusses all the different ways Autism presents itself and what some of the causes might be.

The goal of this book is to highlight her successes while also showing that even though it is seen as a disability, autism can also be a strength.

Her story is also a movie which I highly recommend watching to get a glimpse into the amazing mind of people who have autism.

The symptoms of autism can often be misinterpreted as rude, obtuse, or emotionless. In reality, people who have autism just have a different way of thinking and viewing the world.

In this book, Jacob Hunt witnesses a murder but he goes from a witness to the number one suspect. Since he has Asperger's Syndrome his lack of social cues and lack of expression make people think he committed the murder. This book sheds light on the intolerance and pain that goes along with having a child who has autism.
