Title: Sunday Chutney
Author: Aaron Blabey

Sunday Chutney was always moving schools because of her dads job. She was always the new kid and everyone thought she was weird. Sunday loved hanging around girls, but she hated boys. She thought they all loved her. Sometimes she doesn’t like being the new girl all of the time. She found it hard to leave her friends behind. Her one wish was to stay in the same house, or maybe to have a monster truck. I think the author’s message is to always be yourself.

Everyone told Authur to go away and then he met frog and duck that were willing to play with him. When it started to rain everyone that had rejected Authur came running under neth him for shelter. He went to the school and destroyed the gates and playground . He told the soilders to go to town to get the villagers out of their houses. The villagers didn't like the general because he was horrible and mean. A village person threw a thong at the general. He was so mad he demanded all the kids to come out so he could see who was missing a thong. The kids all took thier shoes off so he would never find out. The general was sad and left the town alone taking his tanks and soilders with him. The authors message treat others how you would like to be treated

Title:The Children who loved books.
Author:Peter Carnavas.

Angus and Lucy didn't have very much... but they had books, hundreds of them. they didn't have a television or a car or even a house. the books were scattered here and piled there, balanced, propped and shoved in all kinds of odd places, until one day... thier home could take no more books. there mum and dad got rid off all the books. but things weren't the same, bowls slide off the table and Angus couldn't reach the window. One day something tumbled out of lucy's school bag, it was a book from the library. Dad read the first sentence aloud then the second. when darkness fell upon the town one house stood out better then any other.the next morning the family was closer then they had been in a while. they went out but angus and lucy knew exactly where they were going. they went to the library and got the hundred books they had back.
